Hi all! Welcome to the blog that will detail how our dream house is crafted from scratch. This will more likely be a photo blog, rather than a lengthy narrative one as I prefer to let the pictures do all the talking.
Yesterday, Ben and I met up with ID, Johnny, at our new house for the first time. He asked us which of the existing items we would like to keep and throw. Those we wanted to keep, he pasted a masking tape on them. The Hoo Duo decided to throw away everything except the electric showers and fittings like taps, etc. HDB has already retrofitted the old toilets so everything in there was in fairly good condition.
There was only one thing that shocked me when I went into the new house. The previous owner did not flush the toilet bowl in the master bedroom! Arghhh.... When Mr Hoo went in, he immediately told me about it. I did not even realise it. Disgusting!!!!!!
Anyway, one last look at a bare, "ancient", 5 room HDB flat before the Hoo Duo transforms it like a butterfly undergoing metamorphosis! Haha!
