    Hi,

    Can i check if this "lighting center" @ balestier point is lighting.com.sg?

    Dunno if i got the shop wrongly.

    I travelled all the way to balestier point to check out lighting.com.sg after reading the forum about how cheap it is.

    Only saw this "lighting center" at balestier point, the one facing the road.

    Had a very unpleasant experience there.

    Hope this is not the lighting.com.sg that everyone is raving about.

    Hi hi,

    Sorry i am abit confuse over elements.

    Does it mean that if I am a water, its better to work in the water element jobs?

    Or i should work in the fire job to counter my too much water?

    Actually likewise in fengshui, i realise that I am a water element.

    I have seen 2 fengshui master over the yrs for my house. both encourage me to use brown, beige color.

    And ask me to avoid blue. So to me, are we suppose to use a color that coutner our own element or compliment our own element?

    Hi hi,

    The floor traps, are you referring to those that we can buy from NTUC, those in a paper form that roaches will be trap in the paper? Or we have to get from those pest controller service provider?

    For me, i am really scare of all forms of insects (except ants).

    So must really preempt all these... ;)

    Me also, got the place for the sake of my children.

    More space for them to run around and play "outdoor"

    Dear all,

    Do you think i can paint the wall of my PES? Coz i intend to get the nippon package and the charges is base on floor size of the unit.

    So if i dont paint my PES, abit bo hua to take up their package...

    Also, i intend to get cupboards to maximise my storage, but on second thoughts, its quite ugly since everyone by the pool will be staring at my PES.

    Any idea on how to improve storage but yet not making my patio look like a slump?

    Also i am thinking of getting those single seater swing, those that look like a ratton basket but with cushion inside.

    Had checked out 2 stores, its selling btw 760 to 950.

    Anyone seen something that is cheaper than that?

    My gosh!! Which range of sofa is that?

    Could it be the older models and they have no QC on that?

    I am thinking of getting frm them too, notice they have really nice design.

    But bugs now? Forget it.

    I had been to his place for the yearly fortune reading. Notice that he also read house fengshui

    But had not heard anyone mention abt his experience in this area.

    Hi all,

    I will be moving out of old place. Previously, I engage a geomancer for my place, and I was told to put things like tat pangoda (tink its for career or study) and a pot with some coins and "jewels" inside, and a yuan bao.

    Can I check, now that I am moving out of my place, what do i do with all these things???

    Do i throw it away or bring it to my new place?

    Hi,

    I juz had my post reno cleaning done and it was diseatrous

    There were 2 cleaners and its a 3 hr job for $200.

    I am not sure isst becoz I am sway or all post reno cleanng co does the same thing!

    We had to reclean some of the non obvious area ourselves again coz we notice that the cleaners only wipe those very obvious area like the floors, and area which we can tell that its been cleansed,

    They never bother about the floor area below my wardrobe, and the sliding window casement which is filled by a thick layer of dust

    Worse is, when they arrive, they claim that my house is very dirty, andthey have never seen a place that is so dirty after reno

    And for that, they demanded $40 more which we relented coz we are worried that they will do a slip slop job if we refuse to give them more.

    So please take note, for those who wanna get such cleaning service, they may quote u a low price and when they reach yr place, then they will demand a higher price.

    Dear all,

    This is my first posting.

    I am also a victim of life story. If only I chance upon this thread earlier, then i wont be con by them!

    I bought my furnitures from them in Oct

    2 beds, coffee table, sofa, dinning set and my requested delivery date is end Nov.

    initially, they call me and say ALL the items will be delivered promptly

    On the delivery date, we took a day's leave and wait at our new place

    In the end, they only came after 5 when they told us our slot is 1 to 5pm...

    When they arrived, we were only given the sofa set, the dinning chair and a badly chipped and cracked cofffee table with a nail on 1 of the leg's base!!

    We rejected that coffee table immediately coz it looked like its utilised for years and the cracked is so obvious.

    When we call the logistic dept to enquire abt the rest of the items, they were always giving us diff answers.

    As we called them everyday, we were given an answer finally!!!

    And the anwser is:- we are the ones to request for late delivery for the remaining items!

    We were totally pissed coz why would any person in the right mind ask for deliveries on different dates??!!

    I tink its a tactic used by them to cover up for their late deliveries.

    eventually, we were given a new date for the next delivery, and that is today.

    This time round, only the coffee table and dinning table arrived

    Luckily we checked the coffee table on the spot and realise that its the same coffeetable tat we rejected the previous time coz we recongnise the same cracked and nail on the same table leg's base!!!

    Immediately, we ask the delivery man to bring bac, but he told us to "used" 1st and when he deliver the bed the next time, he will bring a new one to change with me.

    I insist that he bring bac the coffee table but he refused, quoting that he need to rush off.

    I hope that there will be no complication in "accepting" this coffee table coz we are worried that they will point the finger at us and say that we have spoilt the coffee table, so no exchanged!

    The dinning table is no better.

    After the delivery guy left, we started to wipe the dinning table.

    We then realise that the table is very shacky. We tried to put some papers and stoppers to balance the table but it still doesnt work.

    We tried to called Fashion Home but no one pick up.

    Totally regretted getting all my furniture from them!!!
