Over the weekend, hub painted a corner of our dining area with ICI Dulux Wash & Wear. We choose Castle Rock WW22065L, colour like chocolate We ordered Wall Decal for the mini project.... in white without reflection. Now waiting for the decal to reach Singapore. Also got some white photo frame from IKEA for parts of the transformation... Very excited to see the outcome

Hi after the World Cup now its time for me to update... We got our curtain maker to drop by our place during the weekends to measure our dining chairs... we are making cushion foam & cushion cover... Yes I know some say no need cause its very nice already but recently I drop my keys on top my long bench... it cause a few holes on it (not to mention some small hairline scratch) so decided to custom made a set of cusion for the dining chairs & bench. Item expected to reach this sat or next sat... excited and I will post photo... long time no photo from me liao

The other opt is get the lowest price and lowest delivery charge than call a company you selected and counter offer them the price which other glass supplier can offer. I done this before and some glass supplier are willing to go to the bottom

Wah the delivery ex le.. how come ah... I stay in Bt Panjang and I think they overcharge u the delivery charge... if you want can try calling again and tell them your "few friends" got charge at S$50 for the delivery see what they say LOL... than add again... 2 of them same location as u le and its recently one... My glass price: 6mm tempered glass (150cm x 90cm) S$46.40 + Delivery S$50 + 7% GST S$6.75 = S$103.15

Update from me on my parquet. Ok the guy from Nature Wood came and did a inspection on our parquet floor. Its hollow thank god.... not termite Mr Seet, who came to inspect our floor say just bear with it and just fill it up with wood fillers no point changint that few strips of parquet and still have to resand & revarnish... it will cost S$200+ According to Mr Seet the flooring are still in good condition but no more resanding for the floor next time cause it is reaching its max. Well we are the 3rd owner of the house so maybe the parquet are from the 1st owner till now. So thats all

I got it sand & varnish before we move in le... quite hard pain to resand and revarnish again Simon> I will update more if I can find out more information. But hor I sms the Nature Wood pple again and they did not reply me le... so I guess they just entertain me nia... I tell hub hor he say since I tell the problem to the Nature Wood pple and as according to them only white spot on the gaps & if parquet sink its a sign of termite... but we do not have these sign... so hub say we will fill it up with wood fillers & touch up with wood colour ink hope it works fine ba.. flooring by previous owner

Actually notice it few mths back.. parquet usually have gaps and one of the strip have wide gaps so its being fill up on the surface of the gaps nia... not the whole gaps... than after time the wood filler chip ma.. cause only surface gaps fill up. Yesterday me and hub took out the wood fillers with toothpick and that strip is hollow le.. not sure termite or just hollow. Jason Parquet & Hua Hua Parquet are doing parquet flooring I call up Nature Wood also one of the parquet flooring... the person say if its only hollow than not worth to do it cause cause S$200+ plus have to sand and varnish again. But if termine will usually see the strip sink and with spot at the gaps... which I dun see. I told the person fom Nature Wood that from the gap I see white powdery things dun know if its dust or termite. So the guy say since our place is near his office he will drop by... hope the guy really drop by help us see the floor. At least, it clear out.

Hi long time did not log-in and hope everyone is doing good Recently found out that a few of my parquet flooring are hollow (the parquet flooring are from ex owners) I call up Jason parquet & Hua Hua parquet but they do not do cheking of the flooring.... HELP!!! Anyone can recomand someone reliable who can do checking of the parquet flooring & also do replacement of the strips? Thanks much appriciate.

Bali plan 3 times hor but maybe not suitable for us cause once plan something bad happen... So I give up. No go to Bali for us.

Yes its my first time there... I search and search for place with activities + sea (cruising) the one suit most is Cairns. I love seeing the blue ocean I been to Phuket to different island... Bintan Beach ermmm slightly better than SG... Been to Kuantan (Club Med)... the beach like same as SG... Out of so many beach or sea the best is Phuket area. I think Cairns is even better if this time I go cause its the Great Barrier Reef. Heard that the GBR (Great Barrier Reef) will be gone in 20years cause of the climate change so better to see it now incase its gone Ya heard at night Aust is like dead town... most angmoh country are like that. Unlike the Asia LOL so count us lucky.

Got lots of things at Cairns... if you have no plans for those amusement world. I not going water rafting Will go for Hot Air Ballooning, Railway & Skyrail (Cable car), Great Barrier Reef Cruise, Local Shopping & Night Market
