  1. Hi Eric, first of all we drew out a rough sketch on how we want the layout of the compartments for the ID.... then we printed out photos from the internet, cut outs from magazines telling them what we wanted.... they are able to fulfill most of our requests except for the slide-out TV console.....
  2. congrats velv on your new home wishing you a smooth and problem free reno
  3. just got confirmation from HDB officer that it is not the leaking from neighbour upstairs... almost blame the wrong party.... going after ID to rectify the problem....
  4. thanxs thanxs ossify you really are the guru i emailed HDB yesterday to ask them what to do with the popping paint, and by noon time a HDB officer called me to arrange for an site inspection to find out the actual cause today (quite impressed with their efficiency) if HDB confirmed its not the leaking then i will make sure they follow exactly your steps to fix up the ceiling tried meddling with the disk rack last night ... most of the plates can fit in but the bowls are placed in a somewhat awkward position....
  5. thanxs annjoy hehe... we designed the interior ourselves took reference from ikea and some ID magazines.... the MBR middle portion is proposed by the ID after he told us the slide out TV concept will not fit our 32" LCD... yah we have to add on additional $5 per pair for the fully extendable runners and $3 for the anti-slam hinges
  6. sure no problem just pm me your email address, i forward the whole quote to you however if you decided to choose them, do take note of the negative points i mention in this t-blog.... the 2 negative points i do not like is the delay in handing over and their painting skills.... other then that very are quite satisfied....
  7. it really looks nice.... i was considering the v56vk and the a11ys but decided to go with the later bcos of the cheaper price... now a bit regret when i see the actual v56vk
  8. thanxs ossify so my ID has been bullshtting us all along ..... is it a big job to apply the sealant? how long does it normally take? going to ask him to redo the ceiling heh so far quite ok for the rack.... we seldom do serious cooking so dun really mind that...
  9. yes it includes the runners... but not the hinges... the hinges are part of the carpentry
  10. hihi, we bought the 2 wire basket and pull out tray for $680... hope this help
  11. hihi thanxs cant rem the price now... i go home chk then update you tomolo
  12. pictures of kitchen - part 2 drawers - comes with polykem internal (woodgrain in walnut colour) and full length pull-out sliding rails bottom mount pull-out wire tray basket from Song Cho (Welmi) - surprising not as expensive as expected compared other lesser known brands side mount pull out sauce rack from Song Cho (Welmi) - actually wanted to mount the cabinet door to the rack but carpenter advised against it
  13. hi, managed to find the blog perhaps you can take some reference from the blog owner >>> http://renovation-greencoal.blogspot.com/s...20toilet%20bowl
  14. most of the shops i visited does not quote with the bulbs and ballast.... have to buy separately.... think you have to ask to be sure i bought a KDK for $220... comes with remote and timer... simple but does its job well
  15. hihi congrats on your new home i was previously looking for one in bishan but gave up as the COV is too high.... from 30k onwards... is it still as high now? given the choice, i would choose the 1st layout.... reason is simply the partition will make the whole area looks smaller.... just my thoughts
