Anyone heard of sofa-reuphosltery. My advice is go get a new sofa. I paid this company call Apex-5 S$606 to re-uphoslter my Lorenzo 2 seater leather sofa to fabric before CNY. This company says it not only changes the fabric,, it will repair by adding new foam, repair damage frame ...
When they deliver my sofa before CNY, the fabric was torn on the side(my maid never saw it), when I call the sales person, he say must be the delivery guys damaged it and ask me to enjoy the sofa for the new year. After Chinese New Year they will collect it back as factory will be closed. However the sofa looks saggy and threads starts to split just after CNY. So after CNY when Apex factory movers came to collect my sofa back, they recommended me to change back to leather as it will not look nice on fabric. So I have to go to Apex office and request them to change my sofa fabric to at least Syn leather and was entertain by another sales girl.. The salesman who attended to my sales disappeared
This time the sales girl says the fabric should not have problem, may be CNY so workers rush job and lousy quality.
So these sales guys blame factory, movers..except themselves but they all should represent their own company. Furthermore their recep is lousy, every time I call to ask for the sales people to check for status, she will say out for appointment , call me back but nvr call back..
Since they collected my sofa in early Feb after CNY till today, I never get my sofa back. Yesterday recep call to say will deliver today 6-7pm but nvr turn up. Tomorrow must call to scold them again
My advice to all you guys is "DON'T BOTHER TO RE-UPHOLTER YOUR WORN OUT SOFA, GO BUY A NEW SET AT ALMOST SAME PRICE"
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE GLAMOROUS WEBSITE, LOOKS IS DECEIVING. IF YOU TYPE SOFA REUPHOLSTERY ON GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE, APEX-5 WILL BE SHOWN ON 1ST PAGE. TRY THEM AND YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.
