if you do the joint at 45 degrees to the wall, then it will be calculated wall to wall count
if normal straight line join, they should deduct 2 feet...
Thanks, I'll Check with him. I didn't ask for 45-degree joint, so he should quoted me the cheaper one!

Hi all,
Someone came to my home to measure kitchen cabinet. He counted the corner of the L-shape 2 times. Is it the correct way? I think the overlapped should be deducted.
The overlapped is 2 feet - cost = $120 x (2ft (bottom) + 2 ft (top)) + $120 (granite) x 2 = $720 for the overlapped part !
Please advise
Thanks,
Michele

Hi,
For my DIY 'project'', Please let me know where to buy:
- a plywood board - dimension appr. 180 x 60 x 5 cm and
- a glass board - dimension appr. 180 x 40 x 1 cm
( I have a big glass board that can be cut to the size. Please recommend if you know someone who can do glass cutting service and then polish the edges)
Thanks,

Interesting. What if the kitchen is bad. Mirror then can kick away the bad correct?
But kitchen is the place to prepare/cook food, food = nutrition , energy... so it can't be a 'bad' place
Anyway it's just my thought. Please share with me your experience or advise in term of fengshui if possible

Hi,
In my flat, 2 cabinets under basin in toilets are rotten but the vanity top (granite) and basin are still very good. Is it possible to remove the wooden cabinet only and make a new brick cabinet but maintain the vanity top and basin? Is it cheaper than hacking all and rebuilding a new cabinet, top, basin?
Please recommend contractor if you know
Thanks,
Michele

Hi,
Please let me know where to buy the thick paper that contractors usually use to protect floor during construction?
I saw somewhere they sell the paper in big rolls, but can't recall
Thanks
-
Thanks, you are the only one who replied my question
My concern is the mirror can 'kick' the good away from the kitchen where is considered as good place.
As I know, mirror can be hang on (outside) of toilet door to keep the good away from toilet where it can be flushed away

Hi,
My dining area is very small.
I intend to install a big mirror on the kitchen door and its wall (outside of the kitchen) to make the dining room look lager and brighter. Is it ok in fengshui?
Please advise, thanks,
Michele
