    Blk 421 lift alarm went off a few times today?

    One of my old neighbors said her new unit's floor tiles were quite uneven and she has to get BSC to redo them. So another factor to consider for those who just got their keys.

    Should be me liao..I am a poor man and really no money to ask contractor to renovate the house..i need to do all by myself..Daytime I need to work to earn a living and only left with the night then I can start doing some reno work..sorry sorry sorry...I will shut all my windows and doors and make sure no noise escape out from my unit. Sorry again to disturb your peace.

    My opposite neighbor who had his keys much earlier than me and did his own reno in Jan. Until today, I still hear screeching machinery sound coming from his unit. It's already mid May and he is still doing his reno. Oh god! I did my reno only end Mar and work finished in Apr and have already moved in 3 days ago.

    Oh boy..I am sorry to disturb your peace..i will try to speed up the reno progress.

    What current quote for MIT starmex/Panasonic system 2 system 3 invertor? If get system 3 which location in living room to put? Is it okay to aircon on top of door entrance to both bedroom?

    yes it does. it is just the basic track and hinges though.

    does not include any fancy baskets, wire baskets, corner unit and accessories. every bottom shelves are drawers, and no fancy top-mounted blum accessories. those are the really expensive stuff. a single blum shelf unit is already 500+.

    oh...and i did not get the blum myself. got contractor to put that in the quotation, and then he instructed the carpenters to add that in.

    all my carpentry is done in factory in JB, so i guess that is why my contractor managed to do this. but i think his margin is marginal on this kitchen shelves.

    the trick is to create bigger shelves(wider or deeper, or both), so you can minimized on the tracks. The heavy duty tracks cost more, but i think it makes more sense. hinges are not so bad as they are fairly inexpensive.

    diy is great! spending on tight budget also need lots planning

    anyway yr deal for aircon real gd!

    Need plenty time and scout around for materials... Agreed planning too.. This is my third flat... Had problem with the past 2 so decided to DIY and self supervise or wet work..
