  1. I hear what you're saying. It's the same thing I heard before I did my reno for my current apt and the one before that, but I've not had any problems with scratches. Certainly, there'd be need for concern if you used glossy laminates for a counter or table top surface as various items would be placed on top of it making it prone to scratches, but you're not going to be placing anything on cabinet doors so it's very unlikely to scratch. Just make sure that if you do wipe the doors from time to time that you use a relatively clean cloth in case there's any hard debris on the cloth. BTW, I also used glass doors for my wardrobe and have had no problems with scratch marks either.

    thanks

  2. I have been using my current refrigerator for a number of years and it is still going strong. But I would like to change the look of it by laminating its doors and sides to match my kitchen cabinets.

    Is this technically possible?

You can check out plaza sing b1 shop. They sell gloss sheet meant for fridge and washing machine. Even wallpaper with adhesive. But must diy. Price reasonable too.

  3. Hi,

not sure if I answer correctly

anyway I also bought a flat under SERS scheme 4 years ago

the flat owner Y bought was probably not under subsidy

the reason it was at 30K was because

    (A) it was 10 years ago

    (B) 30K was possibly the nett value after offsetting the value of the old flat prior to the current one

200K now is market value which is very much in line with general HDB price trend

Hence, owner Y is entitled to the full proceeds of the sale in the absence of owner X

  4. I know y liao.. at image shack after u upload, u copy ur image URL and paste in RT's image tab and it'll b ok.

as you can see, mine is basically a shaky photograph of the floor plan and not the actual PDF

  5. After a 5 year wait, we are finally nearing key collection for our SERS flat

As it is likely to arrive sometime Nov this year, thought it would be good to start with our research NOW

Any advice or recommendations will be greatly appreciated
