Well its not in HDB's hands. It all depends on the lawyer. Since all the paper work need to be done by Lawyer after 1st appontment ..like managing CPF monies, loans, etc etc ... So if the Lawyer is ready to finish in 4 weeks .. HDB will say so. I requested my lawyer to expediate the process as it was a simple buy sell and she agreed on a condition. If there is a delay I wont make a shouting and that was quite a understanding. Stated the same to HDB officer and he couldnt make a fuss about it. Though he mentioned that if not completed on 4 weeks .. the date will automatically shift to 8weeks. But the lawyer said .. thats not the case. After 4 weeks the appointment could be taken anytime and max is 8 weeks. Well by grace of all ... we got the keys

ok.. well as far as both parties agrees to it. Well now I am facing the delays. Somehow the reno was supposed to be finished before the month end. But now I would only be get it by 10th .. ah .. I am not sure even 10th. Any further delays could really kill me.

yup ... small tradein here and there... obviously the size of the whole unit is still 114sq mts for both 16x and 600+. This unit was on display just for a day .. before I grabed it in honky tonky way. I was too tired of my life ... with only house seeing left. Even my dreams were sort of about "WHERE IS MY HOUSE!!!!". I dont know if I ever woke up in the nite thinking .. dude .. what are u doing ... buy something .. even if its a bit costly. And thats what I did. My cavet for that month was highest !!! ..) Anyways ... I was reading the below comments by others on your keys... Why not write to HDB with sellers and buyers signature and they may prepone ur appointments. If u need more details on how to .. I can guide u on that. I saved 4 weeks like that. My first appointment was on 9th OCT. I got it preponed on 11th Sep and than pushed the Lawyer for 4 week completion .. that was on 9th oct.

Yeah the reno is quite nice. So I want to preserve whatever I could and do some modifications on master toilet, master bedroom and other places. But not kindof hacking the whole stuff .. just adding some taste to it.

Floor plan ..

For long we( me and my wife) were looking for a nest to grow together and grow our next generation. Finally after a hectic search and hefty price we landed up in BLK 166A punggol. Though the house was more to my modern taste than to my wife's, who still feel at ease with contemporary designs of britist era. But we still love the look of it. I should have started this long back when I was in process of getting possession and share a lot of crazy things that happen in the 3 month long process. But I think its never too late.

Hi Boarders, I was quite happy to get my house renovated by i-deal house ... since lot of people recommended them here. But my experience with them was quite the opposite. After buying a 5 room in Punggol I was quite enthu to get it renovated. The house is already in a designer reno condition, but wel everyone have their own ideas about things. So I wanted to get some things done for my own good. I was introduced to Max Ng at ideal house and was told that he was quite experienced and a veteran there. Well so far so good .. after explaining him the details, showing the photos and hanging him the floor plan .. I let happily with a promoise of getting some propsal in 3-4 days. well nothing .. no communication. I waited for sometime than approached(called his HP) Max again on one fine friday evening. The Answer was "U will get it by Monday". I called up again on this wednesday ... And to my horror and surprise the reply was .. "You will get it soon" I asked .. "Are u really wworking on it .. as I am calling you for the 3rd time" "No Lah ... not yet started" I was like ahhh ... I asked so how much time ?? "Sorry ahh ... get someone else to work on this .." look for another renovator ...?? I was like why I waited for such a long time !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I immediatetly called to their office at Serangoon road .. and was attended by a not so coprative person. After requesting to talk to the incharge and explaining him the issue .. he said the incharge is out and I would get a call ASAP. Folks .. its been another 2 days .. and no calls ... I think people should think about this ID .. I am not sure if I am the single case .. but still .. the experience was pathetic.
