The theme of the nite depends on my mood. hahaha....

They have finally fixed up the sink. The brick wall is done. So nice.

No money to buy OXO. Bought all my fittings from one of the shops at Sims Ave. Dunno what brand. Hope my fittings willl last a few years.

Met with the boss this afternoon to go thru' the defects. On the spot he quickly made a few phone calls and activated a few groups of his sub-contractor to work on the plastering, the painting and the false ceiling. Very efficient. So I left the place knowing that things will be in good hands. But then another nightmare began when I went back this evening. The #$#@@ plumber put my sink at one corner. I already told the site coordinator many times that the sink has to be in the middle of the ledge. I believe the site coordinator did hihglight this to his sub-con- the plumber, but that the plumber did not follow instruction as the discharge pipe that he did is not in the middle of the ledge. Good thing is that I was there this evening to spot the mistake and lifted up the sink and realised that the plumber has sealed the base of the sink with cement. Just imagine if I go down tomo morning, the cement would have dried up and we will have problem moving the sink. Not only that, the plumber really has cocked eye or what lar. the shower head is not aligned again. So again, called up the boss and site coordinator and gave them a piece of my mind. It is almost two months and my reno still have yet to be completed. Sigh...

Bought a TV console, coffee table and rug from OM this evening. Total damange $2.6k.

Shall not name the company lar. Anyway the company is doing more of commercial project; seldom they do HDB flats. REason why I get them to do it is I thought they could deliver up to my expectations as I used to have good working experience with them. Today was supposedly to be a good and happy day for me till I went down to see what they have done to my wall. The wall have yet to be plastered but then they already gotten the painter to paint. What makes things worse is the bottom part of the wall in my two bedrooms. The laminated flooring was supposed to be installed tomo but I called them to cancel it at 9ish in the evening. There is no way the laminated flooring can be done as the bottom part of the four walls have yet to be plastered. CAlled the main con and scolded him and his reply was that he thought I was going to install skirtings. I remember I told him several times that I'm not going to have any skirtings throughout my whole house. Do not where he get that idea from. Have already arranged a meeting with the boss tomo to sort things out. Hope there's no further delay to my reno work. It has been almost two months that they started renovating.

Those two lights in the toilets are not downlights. They are from Philips. $98 per light.

Went back this afternoon to take some measurement for my furniture. Was glad to see that they have painted some walls. The dark grey wall will be my gallery wall displaying some of my work. But yet to have the time to select the pictures for developing. The painters have painted the hollow block wall white as well. Now it looks so cool when the blue light is on. I simply love it.

Next will be laminated floor boards for the bedroom then follow by epoxy flooring in the hall and yard. Kitchen & wardrobe will come in some time next week. The last to come in guess will be doors. Will update some pics and video later.

Single is $85 and double is $160. All from New Tai Wah Electric Trading. I bought all my lights from them. But then service wise so so as the staff there converse only mostly in mandarin and dialect.

Bedrooms Toilet

Went to check out the lights this evening. Was quite pleased with the result, especially the bedrooms. Here are some pictures which I took this evening. Living Room Yard

Aircon was up today. Ceiling already plastered. A base coat was applied to the wall. All lightings up. What next??? TEsting of the lights tomo evening. Will take some video to share. Meanwhile, enjoy this video which I took today.

The light can be purchased from New Tai WAh Electric Trading at Verasamy Rd. And each only costs about $25.

Cove lighting along the external toilet wall. The LED has multi colours and I can adjust the speed and colour to suit my preference. My frd commented that I'm turning my house to a nite club. haha... Will post video when my lights are up.

Bought a three-seater sofa this evening at Lifestorey. The fabric will be in greyish colour which hope will go well with my two single-seater Barcelona chairs.

The tiler already completed one side of the toilet wall. Hope tomo they can complete the other wall.

I love the windows too. Black frame with clear glass gives a very timeless look. haha....
