Help, my rubbish chute dropped off from the wall and my contractor cannot be contacted anymore. Does anyone have any idea how to DIY to fix it back on my kitchen wall (tiled) ? Else I will need to get someone to do that. Can I use plaster to fix it but it will be against the smooth surface of the wall tiles ? Will it be strong enough ?

BTW, how do you tell the difference between normal glass and tempered glass ? I did see the print "tempered glass" on some but not sure if that is the standard, meaning if no marking than is not tempered ?

Does anyone out there have any experience with having acid wash on compressed marble floor ? My Contractor is planning thet but I am not sure if the acid will stain or damage the compressed marble floor. I will also be doing a polising of the floor as well. Appreciate some feedback and comments.

For the corners (external type, not internal) of my kitchen and toilet walls which is using homogeneous tiles (glossy type), my contractor had use the small curved tiles at the corners to "smoothen" it before joining back to the homogeneous tiles on the flat surfaces. He claims that cannot fixed tile-tile at the corner as it will be very sharp. The small curve tiles looks so "obiang" and out of place. does anyone out there have any experience on this and how should the detailing for this be ? Any solution for this, apart from hacking them off and redoing the whole wall ? Thanks.

Hi All out there, I have been recommended to get my lightings & sanitary items from the 2 shops below and need some views. For lightings, does anyone have any views on getting them from "***" located in Balestier ? For sanitary, the recommended place is "El Bano Gallery" located along Sims Avenue. How are their services & do they have a good range of selection & variety of litemss ? Also of course, are their prices competitive & reasonable ? Any view would be helpful. Thanks
