    my HTB will buy the workers drinks when he happen to see them ard..

    hee below my flat is kopitiam..soo he always ask what they want to drink then go down and buy...

    BTW only my HTB will do that.. i wont lor..me is the mean house owner..hahaha

    of coz you can..

    I reuse my ex owner hob and hood.. just rem to tell ur ID that you will be reusing them..

    ask ur ID to remove it and left it at one corner of the house (e.g store room).

    What i did was.. i wrap my hob and hood so that they wont get dusty ( still dusty..sigh but better than nothing) during the reno period..

    I need some help here.

    I went for a final check at my new place on Sunday (we gettin keys on Thurs)

    we realised that the hob and hood are still in great conditon

    We are redoin the entire kitchen wall, floor and cabinet.

    Can we still resue the hob and hood?

    Normally after the final coat of paint is done and i still find some areas not up to my expectation..how is the painter going to paint the area???

    Does the painter paint the whole wall again or only touch up on the small portion that i mention??

    My concern is..wont that small area be very obvious after the touch up is being done???

    Any comments?

    The painting done is not up to mark.. Mr J not very please with the painting.. tmrw he will meet Richard and see if we can get the painters to come down again...

    Went sg expo today..think gain city must be very happeee...we spend close to 3K there.. bought our TV, fridge and standing fan..

    I am impress..with ur HTB... he is such a mr nice guy..

    saga with singtel - broadband and home line

    they promised to come on wed and no news from there. poor htb waited for them for 2 hours. no call at all. silly htb...didn't occur to him that he shd call singtel and ask. so, i called singtel and asked what happened. they gave me a whole lot of rubbish. saying that no one was at home, there was sth wrong with our line. i was like..what???? no one at home? my htb was there waiting. sth wrong with our line????? shdbn't they have check beforehand and call us in advance???

    the singtel guy who picked up my call said that he will arrange a technician to call me and ensure the broadband will be up by this week. i demanded him to promise that the techinician will call today and at the same time a voucher as it caused inconvenience to us. all agreed.

    today!!! no one called at all. decided to wait till 5pm and still, no one called. i called singtel and they said that they have made a request for the singtel shop at bugis to call me. i was like...what??? u said technician and now u say singtel shop. i dun care, i want the broadband to be up by this week. i dun care whether u need to do OT or not. thats not my issue. told the guy that if no one call me by tmr afternoon, i'll call their superviser directly.

    technician then called my htb (muz be because i was too fierce aly). this silly htb!!! told the person it's okie. can do it next tues. can dun give us the voucher.
