  1. Thanks all for your wishes . There had'nt any T-blog updates for Day 12-13 although we did visit the site daily, so far the living room and bedrooms tiles are coming up. Skids will go in last. These 2 days I had been tending to my badly damaged mobile which was bought in Dec 2009. The screen is now suffering serious "internal injuries" and it should be send to the intensive care unit. It can no longer allow me to accept incoming calls even though I can still make outgoing phone calls. But it is still going to serve its purposes for the remaining few days of renovation till 13 Jun . . Salute & Hail to my mobile

  8. Photos for today purchases 1. What type of finish is applied to the surface of the wood? The product is sold as unfinished. During the treatment of the wood it is put in a bath which evens out the colours of the different types of pieces that are used and makes it a bit darker, but there is no special finish. 2. What happens when I spill something on the surface, is it stain resistant? Teakwood is hardwood so the liquid will not go inside but will show on the surface. To avoid stains sweep the whole surface of the furniture equally (not just the area that's been spilled on) with a wet cloth. 3. What guarantee do I have the wood will not expand or split? It is reclaimed wood. The handmade furniture pieces are a work of art. Crackings can not be avoided and are in fact a characteristic of the piece. 4. How do I care for the furniture? Try to avoid putting the furniture next to the heating. In the winter time, when the house is heated, please put some water in a cup in the room to enhance the humidity. This is good for the furniture, and for your own health as well. 5. Can the furniture be used outdoors or in a covered patio area? It's hardwood so it can be used outside, but please be aware that the colour will change to light grey.
