  1. Please check your PM. I hope it helps.
  2. Hi oneuser, Current setup : 1. Double deck comprise of top deck of 3ft, lower deck of 3.5ft and push out deck 3.5ft 2. Ceiling fan is good for the bottom 2 decks. But top deck cannot feel it 3. I got a mounted wall fan for the top deck. Before this set-up : 1. 1 table table for top deck (possible as table fan was on the top storage step) 2. Stand fan for the 2 lower decks. I think if the 2 beds of your double decks are of same size, top deck cannot feel the fan circulation. Would be space saver with a ceiling fan and wall fan as 2 stand fans takes up floor space. I hope the above helps.
  3. I'm not sure how silent is the KDK M11 to you. But the motor sound seem a lot louder than the Haiku fans. I've 2 kdk M11 fans and 3 haiku fans installed in my hdb flat. The haiku fans are much much much quieter. Eh....haiku price wise is much much much more expensive than kdk at current situation. I would have installed 5 units of 60" haiku fans but the other 2 rooms have double deck beds for my 6 kids so forced to settle for 2 units of 44" kdk. Fortunately I invested to buy 3 units of haiku before the 100% price increase.
  4. I think 30" and 32" was the same price when I bought mine 6 months ago except for the shipping costs which would cost more for a 32" sink. The total costs then was around S$690. You might have to settle for a smaller one to match your budget.
  5. I think you got to hear for yourself and not depend on our ears to "hear" for you. Its rather subjective and our hearing might not be sharp compared to our younger days. You got to also see for yourself the epoxy padding Kraus sink has. The difference in price becomes narrower for bigger sink like the 32" size. Could you accept a few hundred dollars premium for a presumable better quality Kraus sink? If you could not accept then go for the cheaper local. If you could, you may have to compare the tangible premium brands here with the virtual Kraus sink. Not quite easy to compare.
  6. I totally agreed with the thread setter, kim76. He had so "poisoned" me deeply into buying the kraus sink that I didn't do further investigation. I just bought it a week later with no regret. BUT I had my revenge when I recovered enough to "poison" him in buying the Haiku fan. I think most of the kraus sink buyers didn't touch and feel the sink as kraus doesn't have a presence here. They believe in the pictures and the recommendations by fellow forumers and they just buy.
  7. The Chinese saying is 一分钱一分货, "yi fen qian, yi fen huo" (pronounced ee fen chee-ahn, ee fen hoo-oh). This translates literally to one cent gives you one cent's worth of merchandise. If the feedback from the kraus buyers in this forum do not convince you enough, than buy from the local lor.
  8. Check the threading standard of the hansgrohe mixers. What are are they? ANS or UN?
  9. Could the difficulty comes about due to the tap threading of American National Standard vs our local Unified Inch Standard? Please read this : http://www.ring-plug-thread-gages.com/ti-N-vs-UN.htm
  10. I have the same experience as yours regarding my reno contractor. He was recommended by my plumber when I asked for a direct contractor to do my bedrooms, living room and L-box. The entire reno costs include removal of the old built-in furniture. The other issue was the bulk clearing of the old built-in which the wardrobes, feature wall, tv console, display cabinate, cupboard, 2 sliding wooden glass doors, 2.3m full height wooden pelmet behind a 1.2m long fish tank (which was immobile, how to move a ton weight of fully planted fish tank?). This was massive work! I wasn't impressed when I met him. He brought his works profile to show. But his presentation wasn't half as good as others though he could answer all my queries. I found out many contractors are too busy to follow-up their quotes. But he follow-up with me and I gave him the job since my plumber said he knew him for 20 years and would definately give direct contractor price. The quote including removal of old built-in furniture was good and the workmanship was also good.
