  1. unfortunately, the ID who did my home is no longer an ID I'm quite satisfied with his work tho...
  2. say, what's the best way to go through this? just call and ask their rep to come over take a look then request a quote? thanks
  3. I like that idea but it doesn't help to solve the left balcony fence. he can still step on the concrete
  4. let's see if this works. not my balcony. I just took someone's posting's photo... my idea was just to slap on an acrylic plate over the entire balcony fence. so my son won't have any footing to climb the fence. it doesn't have to be acryclic, but as long as it's transparent and serves the purpose... especially that fence on the left side, to which my son can have a footing on that cement to climb the fence... thanks...
  5. any other material than acrylic? btw, how to attach an image? when I clicked "insert image" it's asking for URL, instead of my explorer to my harddrive...
  6. pics of the balcony fence? or pics of fiber on ikea's bunk bed's ladder?
  7. Hi All, My balcony has steel type fence. I have a very active 1+yr old boy. I'm afraid he'll try to climb over the balcony fence. so I have an idea of slapping a fiber (or acrylic) panel on the balcony fence. you know the bunk beds in Ikea? if you notice, the ladder is covered with some kind of fiber / acrylic panel to prevent kids climbing over. so I want to apply the same idea to my balcony fence. that way, my baby won't be able to have any step to allow him to climb over. the problem is, I don't know where to find contractor for this small project. and any idea how much this would cost? (per meter length? or per meter-square?) any recommendation on contractor, please let me know. thanks...

Thanks a bunch...
  9. Hi, we've been looking for an ID for our newly TOP condo in the east. we've met with the followings and any further comments are greatly appreciated (since we need to decide ASAP) - Rezt & Relax: I think the ID we met was quite a junior... the price is quite costly, and when we saw the design sketch, we got turned off. - Studio Factory: there's only one ID, her own business. but she didnt take notes when discussing, and in the end the quotation was missing a lot of things. I guess, she wasnt interested in our business. a waste of our time. we thought she'd be more responsible since she's the owner of the shop. - La Bonne Vie: any comment on this? the ID seems to be one of the pioneers in the company. so we planned to meet again for the sketch & quotation. but so far, she's shortlisted. - Jack from Baroque D.Zign: he seems alright and creative. when looking for Baroque, the names that come to pass in this forum is Mike & Andy. so, anyone has any experience with Jack from Baroque? so far, it's also shortlisted. still waiting for sketch & quotations. there seems to be quite a mixed review about Baroque too... some say good, some say bad workmanship. - Ivan from Artrend: a friend referred us to him there. we're scared of bad IDs & contractors. these days seem to be on the rise. so, we're shortlisting him. any comment about him? still waiting for quotations & sketch. - Home Success: read enough bad review about this. the iso standards are just BS. and their ads of zoey tay using their services. of course, they'd do a good job when having a celebrity clients. - Chew got talked by Chew at expo. got the quotations, and super expensive. and read tons of bad review on them. I dont understand how this company stays big and case-trusted. any comments for the above ID firms? any suggestions on IDs? thanks
