I wonder if anyone has had similar experience:
Bought a Reg@ 118 water heater and it broke down after barely six months. I had to pay $30 as "service charge" even though the unit is still under warranty. Serviceman came and I was told that the heating element was leaking electricity , which was the reason for my circuit breaker to trip. The interesting thing is that he said he has no parts and had to make a claim from the factory and could not tell me when it will arrive.
Considering that this unit is priced at the league of brands like Aristxn and panasonxc, I urge would be buyers to read the warranty terms and conditions carefully. It does say "lifetime warranty" on copper element, the catch is you will need to pay for every single service....
