    I think she meant that your wife might not have the time to 'enjoy' per se. Surely your wife will shower daily but probably she got to rush through it in the first 2 years and hence, unable to enjoy the 'raining' sensation.

    B the way, your toilet is similar to a 5-star hotel. I like the red backsplash in your kitchen, reminds me the reddish tone similar to Brother Simon. Like many forumers commented, your house is really beauitful which is in line with your dark side-naughty. I knew you have 'private moments' in mind when you set the entire house in 'dark' theme- Barecelona Manhanttan.

    Hi,

    When you open your toilet door, what do you see?

    1) The mirror above your basin

    2) The toilet bowl

    If you have to create a door opening and you can only choose either one of the above, what would you choose? What are the reasons, fengshui or not?

    I see a toilet bowl and that is the way I want it-walk straight in and take a pee-fengshui or not. My ideal will be to see neither but my shower area only. Toilet bowl and basin should be tucked away at a corner. But if the toilet area is small to begin with, a toilet bowl will be preferred.

    hahaha, don't worry about it. you're not the only one talking footy here. i think the italians exude tons of class when they play..no hard aggro ('cept maybe from gattuso, lol). having said that, my views are based on watching them play during the last world cup. i don't watch international footy so haven't seen them play since then..things might have changed..

    there aren't many available worthy replacements for rafa, but i don't think we'll be able to get a top class manager from the bootroom anytime soon. what might work is to have one of the old-timers come in as assistant managers to sort of keep the foreign manager's feet on the ground, if you get what i mean. sort of like what sammy lee is doing with rafa now..

    moan-inho is one of those managers that you love to hate. he's good if he's your club's manager. he's bad if he ain't. some people said he was good for english football. i don't disagree..as long as he's not coaching any of the other top teams. :P

    Let's hope the Italians can play with much gusto in this World Cup. But I hate to tell you this: The Italians are crooks and full of dirty tricks. Fair play was and is never on their agenda when winning is concerned. Watch them and watch with a discerning eye, you will be disappointed.

    Many would want Mourinho to replace Benitez though they hate to admit it. The conventional wisdom that a local lad to work as an assistant to a foreign manager is flawed. Look at the failed partnership between Thompson and Houllier, it didnt stop Houllier spending on second rated french players. In the same context, Sammy Lee is just a translator to the team. This works if you have a large number of local bred players and a foreign manager. But the current squad speaks Spanish more than Scouse so a local bred assistant hasnt got much of a role to play, much less a translator. But hey, you got a Pelligrini working behind the scene for this.

    Although i have seperated the toiletries by placing them in the master bedroom and **** room, the guys who fixed the piping still manage to set up wrongly.

    Why? Only reason is...

    On the 1st day, they fixed everything with pipes only.. e.g toilet bowl, sinks, tapes, heater.

    After which they consolidated everything together into a single pile. Good effort to clean the place..

    And then, next day is "what u see 1st, fix it up". Sigh!!!.. :bangwall:

    Mirrors can be changed coz using the same type of hooks.

    But the glass shelves and toilet paper holder.... :(

    Advice to all:

    1) Label every single items clearly. Draw, label and use any other method you can think of.

    2) Go down and see every few days, irregardless is trusty contractor or world renowned ID.

    These would save alot of your time to rectify things and argument on who's at fault. And most importantly save time and $$$$$..

    What a remarkable transformation and your house is almost set and ready for you and your family.

    I like your Baron 1-piece white toilet bowl coz I intend to buy it for all my toilets. How much did you pay the toilet bowl for? It was offered to me for $250 from one of the shops in Balestier but I havent got them coz not sure if mine is running on S or P yard. The red and white tiles in the common toilet is really bright and delightful and is a contrast to the living room which is a kinda dark and set the mood for private moments.

    Why is there a wire sticking out behind the wall below the sink? Guess the strategic positioning is that you dont like to waste time, ya?

    Just noticed that the hanging bar for your wardrobe is pretty long. How long is that bar? Is there any support in the centre area? Im thinking that the clothes weight might cause the bar to go 'down' at the middle portion. You might want to get the carpenter to do additional support if there isn't any. :)

    All those three attributes you can easily find in the current Spanish team but I would not say the same for Italy. Apart from good looking Latins which I totally agree with you, I dont see how the Italians possess the class and style like the Spaniards. To date, the Spaniards are playing one of the best football though not the similar total football as colourfully played by the Dutch during Cryuff and van Basten era.

    The yanks didnt bring Liverpool the dosh but the dough. Okay, just teasing you. The dough comes in the form of a debt, a huge debt like Man Utd, which is detrimental in the long term coz the interest will snowball and come to a point where it is no longer tenable to service but to declare bankrupt just like Portmouth.

    Yes, Mourinhno is a candidate to consider if a replacement for Benitez is sought. Afterall, Benitez is rated as a top 5 coach as reported in the mainstream media which clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus etc are after his service. I think it is not a big deal if a manager does not understand a club's history as long as the manager brings success to the club. Liverpool have Souness in the past and did he bring success to the club? What about Phil Thompson? Perhaps Kenny Dalglish?

    No offense to avid FS believers but with the exception of very old HDB flats, most MBRs have built-in toilets. Isn't that a water-feature ?

    When you flush the toilet, isn't it the same as water trickling down some motor-operated fountain that people spend a fortune on ? I find it ludicrous that many forumers despite their tertiary education both local and overseas still buy-in to these concepts.

    It is common sense that installing a water-feature in the bedroom will disturb your sleep. How I know ? Just allow your bath-tap to drip water at night and try to sleep. You will be irritated by the constant "tat-tat-tat" or "tink-tink-tink" sound of dripping water hitting the floor. Even if the FS master say it will bring "CAI" to you is all psychological. It defies logic because health problems arising from poor sleep will make you lose your "CAI" faster than the once in a blue moon 4-D windfall.

    For those who insist on installing a water-feature because of "body heat',etc, I suggest you buy yourselves an air mister. The air in your air-conditioned bedroom is probably too dry. Or you are the type that take too much herbal soups,etc...resulting in feeling unwell instead of feeling better.

    FS to me is common sense. Not elephants, donkeys, toads and statuettes. A FS master recommended my mum-in-law to place a water-feature in my dementia afflicted father-in-law's bedroom to "cool" the effects of dementia. She just bought a picture of a waterfall. I see no consolation in my father-in-law's condition. Before picture on the wall and after picture hung on the wall made no difference.

    The sad truth about FS is that people prefer to believe in illogical & money-draining concepts than to pay 50-cents for a parking coupon to park legally. They are willing to splurge hundreds if not thousands to have their houses audited by FSMs but baulk at the ideal of paying a few dollars more for medical insurance for themselves and their loved ones. Such is the foolishness of people affected by materialism that the line between "must-have" and "nice-to-have" are blurred beyond recognition.

    For those die-hard "CAI" location people, please PM your bank a/c no. so that I can transfer $10 on every 4-D or TOTO day to tap on your "CAI" winning formula. You can pay me 80% of the winnings. I also need "CAI" so maybe you can do a good deed by spreading some wealth to me !

    The overzealous pursuit of wealth and success in unconventional methods other than sheer hard work have caused many to abandon common sense. Common sense is no longer so common anymore. No offence but I am one of those as well. I, however, believe that to spend first on medical insurance and then fengshui.

    Brother, I have to agree with you on most of the things that you have pointed out.

    Read BURNING stove from old house to new house. Doesnt matter whether you are residing in a rental flat now or not. You would need more personal injury cover/insurance to do just that!

    I have to agree with you that the wallpaper in your living room is nice. Do you have a compatible lighting in the living room to blend with the wallpaper? Seems like the wallpaper kinda dominates the living room. What colour is the wardrobe door?

    If Mourinhno is going to replace Benitez, Kuyt will go and Lucas will go for sure 100%. Liverpool dont need a headless chicken running mad and christ's sake, he doesnt seem to be able to control the ball. This kind of player probably is good for central defending. Having said that, Mourinhno is more likely to end up in Man Utd should he go back to England once again.

    he is a good player but im sure Aquilani is better then him (and younger). Rafa just have to put more faith in Aqua-man. :bangwall:

    someone has to fill Xabi's void and it shd be Gerrard instead of Aquilani. Aquilani needs time on the ball and u cant do that in the middle of the park in the EPL. he is more agile and from what i have seen, more brainier than Stevie G, so he shd play off Torres. :)

    heard we are keen on Javi Martinez....again! maybe its time to offload Lucas to Fulham. :yeah:

    Aquilani is a quality player with good left and right foot. Have you seen him play for Italy under 21?

    Liverpool need someone who can provide the deadly defence splitting pass and Gerrard is not of them.

    Sell Lucas, Kuyt, Ngog, Carra.

    well, personally speaking, i wasn't angry when owen joined them. like you said, he'd already left lfc a while ago. i think i was just annoyed..its like your gf left you for another guy. then this guy dumps her. and now, she's with your ultimate rival. you don't feel anger, cos the emotions are long gone, but you still get a bit pissed. i hope you get what i mean! lol :D

    Fire stove? Is it those type where our grandparents used to cook using charcoal? I think those shops selling claypots, kitchen utensils etc should have.

    Is it a must thing to do? Can we do away with the charcoal stove and still get blessed?
