Thanks all!! Now to share some small little things which i have encountered.. the holes for the toothbrush holder is pretty small, so make sure u buy toothbrush that are slim our shelves at MBR's tv console is very shallow.. the SCV HD box is now much much bigger. we did not know about that cos we just changed to the HD box recently and omg! the box does not fit in and we will have to tilt it vertically and not so good actually cos no ventilation this mistral tower fan is good as it is easy for cleaning.. the back cover can be removed easily and no need to use screw as we did not engage an ID so no 3D drawing and cannot really visualise outcome till final product.. now we feel the tv is too small for this big feature wall.. should have got a bigger one

me oso had the same dilemma when doing the top and finally chose sold surface top too.. reasons being : 1. we wanted a clean look - granite has the porous look 2. we rather go for stain proof then scratch proof as we think more likely to spill water than scratch the top 3. agree with ossify on the re-polish part for surface top.. still can be "save" in few years time 4. i doubt anyone will put hot pot on their top even if it's granite.. am sure we will have those coaster meant for hot stuff on our tops.. so that part about melting, no worries 5. but we finally choose white instead of black cos we tried on the sample and the scratches on black is really much more obvious than white

undermount sink is those mount under the kitchen surface top.. hahaha.. not sure exactly how to explain.. u goggle images undermount sink and top mount sink.. then u can see the difference liao yalor, i oso told my hubby that, so today workers going to do the grout lines, dunno how is the outcome though, will check tomorrow

nice hor!!! i never see your sliding door pic in your post leh i very sian with my renov now.. we said we want undermount sink but turn out it's not!! i only realised the day before.. then supposed to clean all the grout lines and doors.. then never do, i insist then hubby get them to do grout lines.. but doors still need to clean by ourselves!

paperZ, wanted to tell you.. if u are changing shower screen for your MBR toilet, u may want to consider sliding one.. cos our toilet big.. my colleague has a sliding shower screen and it's so nice and so unique!!! have not seen anyone here with a sliding shower screen
