  1. Beware of the marketing tactic that the company uses...they use the name Healthy Homes to sell Rainbow Vacuum Service claiming that your friend recommended you to the company to enjoy the free service. When the promoter arrived, she will not demonstrate unless she is certain that you want to buy the product or willing to give her 10 more contacts. With your number and address given, wonder what she will do with them. She even called me and sent offensive sms!!
  2. Full details of the agent involved: Name: Johnny Koh Email: johnnykohhl@yahoo.com HP: 90267033 / 9188 2751 Company: Linkvest Position: Associate Director He has this trainee with him, called Joanne or Joanna who also tried to act fierce and nasty like him. I don't think I want to deal with linkvest agents anymore.
  3. I had wrote in to SAEA. Apparently, the agent is not accredited by the authority.
  4. It's nicely renovated and with market nearby. So the COV is rather reasonable at the current market value..
  5. I supposed the owner doesn't know what to do as the husband wasn't around. I was surprised that the husband, the supposedly very principled man (according to the agent) left his wife at home alone to deal with this. The wife doesn't know what to do and only called the husband when we requested her to. But the husband couldn't be reached. We had wanted to insisted staying but I simply couldn't put up with the agent's bad attitude so we left. All the wife could say was that they had made the decision to sell the house to us but has nothing to do with our commission to agent, while at the same time, we have to reach a consensus with the agent. How to reach consensus when he doesn't even allow room for discussion?? Btw, the agent is from Linkvest.
  6. Exactly! If the agent is helpful and nice, which I have met some of these nice ones, I don't mind paying the 1% coz they really deserve it. But not this kind of yaya agent! When I told him that I was not pleased with his attitude he actually has the cheek to say that it was because of the way we talked to him! I pay him commission not he pay me leh! What stupid attitude.
  7. yes..so no co-broke and we have to pay him to ask us to leave the house? we ask if he's doing any calculation for us he also never say he will! So pay him for what? Just so he will "sell" us the house?? such diregards..
  8. he wanted to ask us to sign the commission contract but before we signed, we asked abt the commission. Then he kept all the documents in his file and stood us and ask us to leave the house! I was so shocked! Usually agent will explain the purpose of commission and when we asked him why do we need to pay him commission when he did not even do anything for us like calculation of cost like how other agents does it but he said it's an entitlement and it is a must! How is an entitlement a must! He didn't even tell us what he will do for us. And even said he can always get another buyer who will pay him commission right in front of the owner. Even though it is the owner who wanted to sell the place to us! Even if we wan to pay commission, I don't even feel like paying him! It's 4k plus for his commission! If he tried to negotiate the COV price for us or what at least I feel better giving him the commission. But he simply increased the price! Our offer from 32 to 38 to 42! Agent's name: Johnny Agent's number: 9188 2751
  9. We tried, but that agent said no cobroke. so we have no choice to but to represent ourselves since we really like the flat.
  10. We were told by seller's agent that seller has decided to sell their flat to us. After we signed otp and all contracts and agreement, we asked if we can not pay commission since agent did not do anything for us and is already getting 2% from buyer. Furthermore, we have informed the owner that we may not have so much to give the agent if we give such a high price to them. Instead of discussing or explaining to us that they will be doing the paper work etc, they asked us to leave the flat! They as in the agents, right in front of the owner! One of the agent simply disregard the owner's presence, packed everything and asked us to leave. They even said, without us, they can easily get another buyer who will pay them! How ridiculous! If we are even paying the commission, we should be paying for good service. We shouldn't be paying commission because we are being threatened not to have the house sold to us! We shouldn't even be told to leave the house! He even have the cheek to said the master owner will not agree. He initiated to call but he didn't call. We wanted to wait for him to call but he hugged all the signed documents and stood up. In the end, the wife has to call but it wasn;t answered. We said if the owner want us to leave, we will leave. Yet the agent refused to let us wait for the owner's reply! He kept insisting tat he has exclusive rights to the house and he is in charged. But does in-charge means he owns the house and even decide who he should sell it to? And does it even mean the buyer should be at his mercy? Beware of this agent. Make sure you check out his character before you sign exclusive.
