Yes those. I went to lightings.com just now. Those were just $19. The downlighting from Phillips were nice but expensive and no stock some more.

PLC lights + those long lights too.. so far, the ones i wants are still around $25 - $33 for those using 2 tubes of 18 or 13 watts... been wanting to go balestier but don't know how to go.. haha

oh lucky i see your this post. Was going to order 4 pieces for my house too. But seems like cannot find any other brand that is so small leh.. any recommendation? i want simple ones... with lights...

Hi everybody, Thanks. Looks like it is indeed more expensive to get from Jurong East. I was quoted $20 for the old model square type small one. The medium ones was quoted at $33- $38 depending on model but she did say that if I buy more, got some discount. I will have to make a trip down to balestier soon to get a better gauge of the prices. Hi, I will be needing to buy quite a lot of this for my new house. I went around Jurong East + Tradehub area to look look see see and budget. They seems to be priced around $33 to $38 for small to medium sized ones. I was told that Balestier can get at $19 complete set... Is it true? I haven't been there ... and didn't want to make a wasted trip if the price is around the same. Thanks

Hi, Had to repost. Not sure why my original post disappeared. I am getting my new 5room HDB and was asking for quotations. So far, the quotation came back with haulage ranging from $350 to $1,200. Some recommended that we pay haulage directly to HDB named contractor while some charge it into their quotes. In order to ensure that the quotes received above are reasonable, I need your help to let me know what type of haulage were quoted to you for 5room new HDB flat. I did a search in this forum and the most recent quote was supposedly around $500 and actually HDB suggested just $250. But that thread dated back to 2007. Things might have change by now given the hot property market. Appreciate any help here. Thank you. Michael Ang
