  1. Hmmm, we considered this brand briefly but we decided that many Chinese brands equate to "Quality Analysis often can't make it". Reviews are average for Midea if you look around on the net(forums like HWZ and even Australian forums, online stores, possibly review sites) and it seems the product lifespan is hit and miss. If you're lucky, it can last for a few years but if you're not, it lasts for a few months to just over 2++ years. I'd stick to Japanese brands like Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic, Toshiba and so on. At least they've been around for many years and have better R&D. Plus, replacing multiple aircon parts is a lot of hassle and having to replace all the almost "brand new" units seems a major pain if the warranty isn't for long.
  2. Ouch! That was awful to hear. I've always tried to research well before buying an equipment like this 'cos companies usually put "profits" ahead of customers and they don't always want to deal with a problem. I wonder how much of what the technical guy said, is true... But thanks for telling us. And now, crossing my fingers 'cos my family just bought a Fujioh Fx900 hood, some stove and also an oven.
  3. So, we've been looking at Dulux ICM and Nippon Paint... and we've got questions about the former. 1) I heard that some of Dulux's paints will change colours after a while if exposed to a lot of sunlight. Is this true? 2) Have any of you used Dulux Mouldguard and how long has it lasted all of you? Of course, this is considering the paint job is reasonable... haha. Thanks!
