    Hi, i just did my shifting today and i engaged 'The Helping Hand'

    Very efficient n helpful as compared to those top mover that i used before in Singapore.

    They charged very reasonably n you get to help someone.. So go for it!

    Willie is always not ard during the work... i thot he sld be ard most of the time? luckily hubby and i don habe to work now, so we can monitor on our own.. if not i really cant imagine.. just the workers there.. ialready told willie to ask them not to smoke in the house, if realli wan to smoke can just step out and smopke,.and reminded him to tell his workers not to use the mbr toilet.... (we change the toilet bowl for hygience purpose, now they use it... and the urine all splash ard the seat... =( ) super upset when i saw it..

    I really think willie can be more involve... and it will be much better... now it seems like he is not ard most of the time, and we are always the one who spotted problems... is it normal?

    Look like inspecting TO is self-defensive & kiasi. No flower pots, no hooks, no rail then catch windows and aircon's compressor. What happen to yr air con compressor? About to drop & hit ppl's head? Get an aircon service co to certify yr compressor installation still very tokong, sign, chop and submit the report.

    In fact, if I were you, I would challeng HDB abt compressor installation: if need vibration test( how much verticaly/horizontal stress applied, hz range?), static load test (how many kg), dynamics load test, noise test (65dB measure 1 meter away).... ask them to list the "standards", only after passing these standards then is considered passed. If HDB has no such established standards, then what "report" they are referring to?(ensure 15A power socket is safe ?Present compressor weigh 80kg or less?) . Or, simply just get Ah cat or Ah dog co, writes something good, endorsed, signed, submit and case close?

    i find this issue abt the installation report is so silly! The inspecting TO said he can recommend me someone to get it done.

    for nothing i need to come out 100+ for the report.. will go to the HDB branch office to check out more.

    Just wanna see if anyone experienced this before?

    In the first place u have oredi agreed to the price.. and now to benefit yourself of coming out less cash, u are making life diff for the seller..

    be gracious, dun always me n myself...

    well no one can change your mind if u insist on doing it your way.

    but i will pray the revaluation to be lesser n that u have to come out more cash.. i really pity your seller...

    and lastly, have respect for elders.. u will come to that stage too..

    Hi all! just need to clarify something here..

    few weeks ago, i have this inspector came up my flat to do the inspection before my 1st appt for selling, apparently he said eveything is ok ie the windows etc etc...

    Then he told me abt the aircon unit that was on the mbr wall.. he said need some certified aircon guy to certified the unit wont drop.. i was like thinking "don't all aircon units are on the wall?"

    so i asked him again n he said whether do i have the installation report from previous owner (stayed there for 5yrs)

    told him is it a norm that owner will give u the aircon installation report, i really doubt so...

    gave me a form n asked me to get someone to certified and said he can recommend someone to do it but dunno the price...

    thus i passed the form to my agent n she said nvr heard her clients had this prob before.

    so my agent called the inspector and he claimed that he meant the aircon compressor bracket..

    but i was very sure he was pointing to my aircon unit in my mbr that day (my compressor is in another room)

    so now i m really wondering what was his intention.

    can someone pls help. tks.
