    i think KitchenAid cheapest is ~SGD $700 (or high end of $600), sorry didn't do much research cos too ex for me :lol:

    May, i only remember (i think) footprint has one that is around SGD $600, ask friend to bring back from US or something....

    but wonder how much is the freight cost? cos mixer is quite heavy leh........

    btw reglxt, all the dividers you put up are very nice leh! dunno which one to choose~ :P hmmmm as a start, do you prefer light or dark colour?

    the kitchen aid i saw selling in ebay aust is 699 Aussie dollars.. not worth it oredi

    but the color **** nice lor.. suitable for your kitchen .. lime green color

    lol... ok la, saw the final bill from ID, he's not charging me for a lot of things which were not included in the original quotation. Mostly r the cover ups for pipes n trunkings ")

    I know!! I was willing to forgo *some* features, but not ALL! The reviews were really consistently bad - everyone reported that the transmission is close to impossible - if you use the mirror, the music cannot be turned on, and vice versa. The music apparently doesn't sound like music at all, apart from weird rhythmic static noise as it's super sensitive to any form of interference (your body moving is one and I'd imagine it's hard to stay completely still while in the shower). The mirror also fogs, terribly. Users sent in pictures of their fogged fogless mirrors~ It's also too heavy to stay mounted and keeps falling off, so I finally listened to the voice of reason and tearfully took it off my wishlist. No point buying it for all the features when none of them work :(

    coz took from far far ma. if you look at the orleng wall, you should be able to see those white specks especially near the edges lo.. bo bian...

    coz my contractors only cover up the aircon trunkings after i have painted the walls

    huh ? i tot should be done before painting? anyway your id/contractor shouldnt be charging u extra for this :P

    can tell u really like orange color but its very nice :good: chirpy color

    Valerie, reglxt, not me that want to do mosiac on the pipes, its kobelala!!! it was a suggestion from him....

    There is no 3D cos the 3D is so unprofessional.... i give up on trying to get good 3D. So you will see the final result when everything is done.

    ahh i see.. sorry too many pages .. never read for 1-2 days .. totally cannot catch up (LAO LIAO) :P

    Ha, reglxt! Was going to use one with iPod wireless transmitter and LED display, but the reviews are universally negative (practically not fog-free at all!) and the dimensions didn't fit my recess, oh well.

    Decided what's more important in a shower mirror is a clock (cos I'm always running late, or so I know how long more to leave the hair mask on) and lighted. Will use an iPod dock in the bathroom instead for music ;)

    but but.. the one with ipod wireless transmitter is way too cool.. can listen to smooth jazz while taking a long shower.. thats really nice imo :D

    anyway congrats on your reno!

    our id is very different. recommend ways to help us cut cost instead. FOr eg. we wanted to renovate the whole common toilet and he kept telling us not to bother and that the condition of the toilet isnt that bad. He said that acid wash will get rid of those yellow stains and it will be as good as new once again!

    mosaic for pipes? thats something new ..

    My friend have marine tank in living room. After 2-3 years no one want to maintain the tank. It's a white elephant now....

    i kiv the fish tank for awhile...think really no time to maintain a tank..

    cannot hand this to helper.. dont think she knows how to handle also ;P

    depends on what you want to do with the divider. If u want to block ppl from looking then I think the last one is good. But if you want to have some shelves, then I think the round round one is quite nice.

    My humble opinion lah. :)

    sigh.. actually wanna do up a marine tank.but in the long run.. dont know who is going to take care..
