    i was hunting for paintings so went all the way to holland Village. then saw the shop so bought light blue and ivory.... they will deliver free to me next sat as this sat i will be away from singapore.

    of course i remember.... i love smooth bedsheets and my brother usually go all the way to egypt to buy them. i get to buy them here instead...hahahah...

    ivory is nice... looks classy :) very suitable for your resort theme

    reglxt, i went to see egyptian cotton bedsheets. its really soft and smooth..... bought 2 sets as a start. :) remember, we talked about this before CNY?

    what color did you buy? ya the material is really nice and smooth ,this one i must admit.. actually they provide free delivery svc if you buy thru phone

    are there so many things that can be bought online??

    i got my garmin gps watches , books , irobot, honeywell wireless door bell, citizen watches, baremineral makeup , bath and body works , pillows?, simple human products and many more from AMAzon it's alot cheaper

    I got my biometric lock, faucet tap, iPhone (first gen) when it first launched and not available in Singapore .. and many other things .. all in good condition and working fine + alot cheaper

    Pretty sure I saw similiar ones at SSC, Ho Kee and Poh Joo - just didn't check if they were simply plastic coated or chrome/brass/steel, nor do I have any indication of the prices here. I just bought mine online since I was getting the tap.

    I'll have to warn you that online shopping is VERY addictive. Just ask reglxt :P

    Makes me wanna buy sofa from there. I wonder how much the shipping will cost though.

    if ship via sea freight still can consider...

    dont even think abt air freight cos air cargo service providers charges by volumetric weight :P

    maybe can consider smaller items.. once i bought one infrared thrash bin from amazon.. the freight cost me SGD 300

    I would highly recommend you our family TCM but she is a Singapore PR whose based here in Singapore for the past 10 years. Qualified with her own TCM clinic.

    Her native country is China (Beijing) and she used to work for the state hospital in Beijing (Beijing general hospital).

    It worked really well for me after being sickly for more than 5 years; went to see so many sinsehs until I gave up hope. Then finally, found her thru the chinese newspapers & she pin pointed out the problem.

    After consulting for 3 months, she stopped my treatment & told me to buy a type of tonic to eat - she doesn't sell the tonic so I bought the item in the form of pills from Eu Yan Sang. And since then, I'm glowing with health :D

    my colleague recommended me one around tiong bahru area (just happened to ask him yesterday). not sure if he is specialised in insomnia treatment, but since TCM emphasize on whole body conditioning and wellness, you can give it a try~ ;)

    no 3D leh... me using contractor... uncle said... want 3D, can... he draws "3D" perspectives for me to see lor... LOL!

    If i gd and free, maybe I'll use google sketchup to "translate" his perspectives into 3D for you all lor...

    i reckon i got the time la...

    anyway, how did you all decide the insides (aka drawers, etc) for your wardrobe and kitchen cabinets ah?

    you advise your ID/contractor how you want it? or just tell them how you would like to use the kitchen/wardrobe and they design for u?

    i feel like just taking some off-the-shelf designs.... don't know what to look out for too... maybe need to go ikea and look at their wardrobe system and kitchen cabinets more... :(

    sorry dont be angry hor but then no 3d like abit risky right? i think its better for you to do up a 3d show your contractor in case any mis-comm or hiccups

    just my 2cts okie dokie.. my contractor provided me with basic normal 3d drawing

    ikea is a good place to get idea for wardrobe and kitchen cabinet. remember to bring along your cam :)

    how abt weekdays? maybe this sun? :P

    interested to see how ppl, esp EM owners, do up their staircase, the upper floor toilets (esp the storage heater, if any; where to put), kitchen layout, and the storeroom/study/utility room. and also the balcony.
