thinking of getting 3+1 system 4 for my 4 room flat.
dalkin non inverter r22 (3 ticks) about $3000 vs inverter r410a (4 ticks) $5000
that nearly $2k saving. i'm staying alone
most of the time only 1-2 aircon will be on.. the saving of electricity btw 3 and 4 ticks not a big deal for me
my questions is
r22 is phasing out, and singapore will be stop producing and selling of r22 refrigerant in 2016 (5yrs+ from now)
does that mean from 2016 onwards if r22 aircon run out of gas, there no way to top up?? have to change the entire system??
it is worth for me to still get r22 system (2k saving) use for 5yrs.. than change to r410a?
