  1. Hi MingzhuAng, our floorplans are really quite similar! and we have the same toilet wall tiles too...hehe. All the best for your renovation! It would be exciting to see the finished product
  2. All the best for your reno! The house seems well-maintained, especially the living room. I like your floor tiles...they're sparkly! I chose the same type for my toilet floor tiles as well, couldn't resist the sparkles (don't know how long they would last, though)
  3. This is the beginning of the 4th week of renovation...tiling is nearly completed, plumbing works as well. This week would be the windows, electrical works, and gas. Gosh I've never seen money bleeding out from my bank account at such an alarming rate before Below are some photos of the toilet and constructed doorway: Common toilet MBR toilet Doorway (strangely enough, this is currently my favourite part of the renovation. No idea why, haha )
  4. Haha ya man! You could consider ne0's OXO mat....it looks good! I think it's this: http://www.oxo.com/c-132-dish-racks-drying-mats.aspx
  5. Thanks marshmallow! I'm not getting a very good solid surface top so I guess I need to lay mats all over the place! haha!
  6. Thanks for all your help! Let me say this again, your house is beauuuu-tiful! Our kitchen floor tiles are brown and toilet floor tiles are grey, so I guess the markings wouldn't show up much. I'm more concerned about the living room tiles which are sort of cream coloured....gah hope they don't throw the butts on those *cross fingers*
  7. Thanks neo, I've been drooling over your kitchen for so long! We're getting a white solid surface top too, will need lots of trivets and mats!
  8. Just some updates on what has been happening...hacking is completed, tiling began on 23/4 saturday. Just to check with u guys, is it a normal thing for the tilers to throw their cigarette butts all over the place? I'm fine if they throw it onto the un-tiled floor, but just wondering whether the cigarette butts would leave a mark if they throw it onto the new tiles. Some photos on the hacked place:
  9. Thanks hafiizh, your house is looking really good! love the handwritten comments on your pictures!
  10. It's a 5 room, 122 sqm (I think...or is it 120? haha somewhere around there). It's at the blk 16X area
  11. I realised i didn't take any photos of the toilets. Haha oh well, they're gone by now. Hacking commenced on 18 Apr, and delivery of tiles and materials would be today/tomorrow. The project manager just called to say that the tiles which we had chosen for the toilet floor is out of stock. Sigh. First hiccup. The tile shop should have told us when we chose the tiles on 17 Apr, no? Hopefully they will be able to find similar tiles as we like it a lot.
