  2. Hi Ah Kiat.. just passing by.. You reno progressing well.. all the best.. I think for Samsung LCD TV, the bracket is provided by samsung and installed by their contractor (FOC). It was this way when I bought mine some time ago with free installation. They will call to arrange a date for the installation after the delivery or on the same date of delivery.. hope this helps.. as for the measurement, not sure if it will be the same as mine not the same size..so dare not provide.. cheers.

Thanks Ben for the info and dropping by. :yamseng:

  9. Morning... the work was like sh*t!

they use white material to cover the uneveness. I use finger to rub over the tiles between tiles the part all dropped off!

    FED UP.

told them to relay tiles and not to add the grout and they still do it!

tell me the flat is ready when so many not done. :notti:

wah...i think this happened to one of our neighbors earlier on...

hmmm...not sure if it's still the same contractor...the one who did up our defects is quite ok leh...we are quite satisfied with them in terms of rectifying the tiles...they take out the tiles and redo the tile.

think make some noise to them that this is not acceptable...

  10. Morning!

    some updates again.

Last week, keep following up with the HDB for defects...

Mr aNs was real fed up and called to the HQ to complaint...

Now get to wait again. Wait for their call... We ask for a change of Officer in charge...

The Officer say "give us a chance la" (give them a chance to B*ll Sh*t!)

this sentence like so familar... they used it on one of our neighbour b4 after she meet dunno how many times with the HDB...

    hihi,

sorry to hear abt this....think gotta push them real hard as they are delaying your reno....

    good luck ! :dancingqueen:

Ah blur.. this is my mtd of uploading photos on renotalk.. see if helpful for u:

    1) go to www.imageshack.us

    2) click browse to upload yr photo fm yr own PC

    3) choose the 'resize image' option and use maybe 320 x 240 option

    4) After image is uploaded, it brings u to a page where u can cut and paste the URL

    5) I usually choose the URL from "Hotlink for forums (1)' and then paste into Renotalk. The size of the picture will turn out to be quite ok. You try and see which size is better for u lar ;p

    img2836kx7.jpg

This is a sample of the size for the instructions above.. hope the info is helpful :)

sure...no prob at all....your sample pic already so nice....see liao can drool leh... :dancingqueen:

  12. actually, if u put the furniture in.. the tiles will not b catching ur attention much..

I used to dislike the patterns on homogenous tiles.. my parents used those tiles for our house.. initially I find that the patterns look complicated and messy.. but after the furniture is in.. den the tiles actually kinda look ok to me.. keke

i think u better save the $$ on ur home furnishing loh.. if not u have to sleep on the new tiles.. hehehe :dancingqueen:

yeah loh....my gf always tell me once other things are in...feature wall, platform, etc...u wun notice the tiles.....start to feel the same too...haha....

  13. ya leh?? urs a resale flat??

nope...mine is a premium flat...H*B already done up the tiles already....

40x40 homo....and ugly and uneven somemore...

attempt to make them hack away and i relay the tiles...later decided that i use the $ on other areas instead....

Not sure if i will regret on this decision or not..haha.... :dancingqueen:
