  2. Eh, it's not mine. I was replying to someone who owns it. You can try asking that person which posted the original photo?
  3. A furniture shop along a street beside Raffles Hotel and Lorgans.
  4. Thank you very much. You can ordered for a custom design dimension side board/tv console. I can't recall the name of the shop of where I got the bench from, it's at the same building as EGG3. The payphone is real and it does work, there's a DING sound when you insert a coin. More or less done on deco, just searching for raw wood for my shelving.. Any to intro to find raw/unfinish timber? Please don't tell me Bukit Timah.. ~~'
  5. Well the lens would make the most difference. Body still plays a part.
  6. Hi Elyse18, I'm using my old trusty Canon 550D. A crop frame DSLR with one of the following lens, Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 for the wide angle shots Canon 70-200mm f4 for the close up Sigma 30mm f1.4 prime lens for a deeper bokeh effect. Probably going for the Canon 70D next. How about you?
  7. Sorry for the late reply, totally forgot about this till someone PM me.
  8. As some that had suggested, placing a cabinet would be give you additional space and you won't have to clean those high shelves (if you opt for open shelves). Also to cater for the possible taller fridge, do exactly like the pic you posted which is an additional piece of board/plank that you can easily remove(think of those little metal knobs/shelf support to hold the vertical piece of wood with cut in notches where the metal knobs/shelf supports sits in. Note that you can't be putting it in place from the top, you would only be able to pull it outwards. Sorry, I can't really explain it any clearer as I have this visualise.. Also don't bother about having it flush with the right side cabinet since you guys have already thought of getting a taller fridge in future.
  9. Many thanks Sappyd =) lol I never blast them and yup it sounds pretty decent for my mediocre ears ~~'
  10. Hi Originalbread, I think mine was around the $650 to $850 range. I can't really recall as I bought this with something else. I requested for the tapered at an additional $45+/- if memory serves me well =S They initially said can't, till another senior took a look at it can said it can be done. What material is the light colour top you're looking at? Do you require a close up of my table top/edge?
  11. Hi, hifibargain.com is the website, the shop name may be KEC. I later got more scandyna speakers from Eighteen 77 as they had the limited Jubilee edition minipods. The wires are on run under the tv console, the rear and sub are runon the run in the trunking on the right of the tv console and along the false ceiling as shown in the pic.
  12. Hi there, I can't recall the name. It the blue building in paya ubi. Comfort furniture or something. Need to customise with them.
  13. Yup, go there with the order, wait for them to bring the item, better to check for any damage as easier to swap on the spot, bring back home and have someone to help ya with the assembly. Just incase you're using a GPS, my GPS lead me to the back of the warehouse which I couldn't locate the entrance.. I need to go one big round.
  14. I got it from Scanteak. =) Self collect from Kranji warehouse to save the $50+/- delivery charge.
  15. Thanks! The fan is Matthew fan or something, you can have a feel of the wind at a big shop in park mall which I can't recall right now.. You cannot feel the wind if rotor/fan blades are pointing downwards. The speed of rotation depends on the the angle and speed setting.
  16. Hi, I see it is about 5cm +/-. It's up to your liking and maybe he wanna save cost?
  17. I got it from Scanteak. =) Self collect from Kranji warehouse to save the $50+/- delivery charge.
  18. Hi Kelhy, Thanks! I think it cost around the high $1k or low $2k.
  19. Hi Samich, yup it's the same but it isn't a laminate. It's actually wood verneer and being varnish or lacquer. We actually went to a Sungei Kadut St 1 to choose which I can't recall where exactly and I don't have their contact anymore. It a warehouse on the far end, left side, inside the huge compound share by others. Do note that the wood verneer is more fragile/softer as compared to laminates and it is almost paper thin. Also the colour you choose will be darker after being varnish/laquer.
  20. Hi,we got it a few years back from one of the toy shops in China Town where all the toy shops are but there aren't much selling be@rbrick nowadays from what I seen a few months back. It cost about $500. You can try to find it on ebay.
  21. Hi, yup as what Pinkwhale mentioned(Thanks Pink ), the grooves was cut and highlighted. I can't recall was it being charge more than the usual. I just check my quotation and it cost $2100. Hope that helps. c",)
  22. Hi Rain, sorry it has been a long time ago and I don't have the codes for the laminates, the laminate samples have been returned. What kind of furniture are you pondering to customise?
  23. Hi Abahq, I asked my ID. He said why waste money to hack fully and re-construct the wall again using hollow bricks unless the wall is deem unsafe and unstable after hacking the middle half portion. Sorry I didn't save the contact number of the person in giving approval to the hacking of my wall. Because there was some delay at HDB side, my ID advised me to call them to expedite the approval. try checking with your contractor. Height to top is 109cm, height of my bar stools 76cm. Best to measure the height to your thighs when you are seated on your bar stool and give the some allowance.
  24. Hi Hongge, the downlights along the living room and dining area are not from Philips, got it from JB. The ones shown in the pics are fbg 302 nickel c/w genie w/wh.
