Was given only two choices of grey for painting the door. Decided to go with this! Hope it turns out well! Would it be too much to ask if I get the painter to paint some white lines on the door? Was thinking of doing 3 vertical lines of different sizes.

Thanks for the tip! Thank God my contractor is willing to help me do it! Will post pictures soon! Currently doing up our study as well! =D

We have decided to paint our main door grey... will be choosing the colour today when contractor brings the colour palette over later. Perhaps a grey in this shade? Does anyone else have any experience in painting your main door? I am wondering if the handle could be painted over. Other than changing the door handle, can we paint over it? May paint it black to match the door holder on top. Wait and see the transformation of our main door! From this... to...?

Hi girl, just to check w u, did ur painter sand the main door before painting?
-
I think so too but I am afraid that I will incur extra painting cost. I check with my contractor first! hehehe If not I will try to DIY... with the following options (1) Main Gate :: White & Main Door :: Grey (2) Main Gate :: Grey & Main Door :: White What do you think?

Just an idea. =D

Oh Namie, As per my earlier post, you can bring your own sofa picture and get them to customise! For a customised sofa, the price is quite reasonable.

Yes, it is fabric. I guess cannot wipe... need to vaccum. No harm asking! All the best for your reno!

After doing some research on storage rack and checking out the prices of a few companies, we decided to go with Storage Rack with its SRL1512 rack! The interior and exterior goes very well with the theme of our home! It looks something like this just that the longest shelf will be on the right side and white shelves. It is slightly pricier than the usual but aesthetically, it is the most pleasing to the eye. We like it due to the "missing" corner pole and that there are no holes on the poles. More importantly the wooden shelves are encased in the frame itself and there are no exposed surfaces on the sides. I guess it would be safer for us when we retrieve things from the shelves. I think this will work like u said due to the shape of the lamp shade. But most likely it will only illuminate the area under it. If u r unsure, u could ask the salesperson from the shop. Do you have any downlights in your living area? I don't so am so thankful that the light chosen are bright enough. Oh yes, I think you can consider the round light I bought for my living area for ur MBR. I bought from lightcraft. They have pretty nice lights there too!

We bought the lights after everything in the house was done... they were installed last. If you really like the light and is not in a hurry to move, maybe you can check with ur ID or contractor if it is possible to push back the installation? Thanks for liking the PH5! I super duper like!! hehe Your lights are cool too! Are they suppose to hang like that or attach to the ceiling and let them drape down?

Hi Namie, it is at Balestier Warehouse #05-03, 12A Jalan Ampas, (S)329516.
-
I bought it during a promotion when their new shop opened at #1 Genting Lane. Price was $899 for the 1.6m excluding the chairs. Original price was $1100 for the 1.6m.

I used the small one as my MBR is quite small too. Did they tell you when new stocks are coming in? My PH5 is from Light+Form. I really like this light and managed to bargain so I bought it. It is the most expensive light in the house but also give me the most headache as it doesn't seem straight when hung. Need to adjust the screws inside. Sigh... but after the adjustment, it looks straighter now. Thank God!

Hi Minerat, would you like to elaborate your experience? -
Hi, did anyone do a built-in study table along the window's side for Punggol flats? Would appreciate if you could share with me how yours is done. Thank you!
-
Hi petalfruit, did you receive your furniture as promised? I ordered a dining table from them as well. Read about the poor after sales service but decided to just hack it and bought it cos the design is nice.
-
Hi Samich, nice home you've got there! Would like to enquire about your study table. Love how it looks! How did you contractor do the table top next to the window? Any support there? I am going to do a L-shaped table along from the wall to the window for mine but after some discussion with my contractor, he said must have legs to support the table. Would appreciate it if you could let me know how it's done. Thanks!

Ever since we bought our dining table, we've been on the look out for dining chairs. I love the legs of the original dining chairs but both of us do not like the look of the chair and it cost quite a bit since it is leather bond. Hence, the quest of the search of the perfect dining chair. Did I mention how difficult this task it? No? It is like fishing a needle out of a haystack. We almost wanted to throw in the towel by getting the original chairs, provided it is within our budget! Anyways, we been to a particular shop so many times, and a few other reputable ones and ended up buying from that particular shop! So tiring! On days like these, I am really thankful for the car that we have and that I have already given birth. Couldn't imagine running up and down, here and there and everywhere to look for things if I am still preggy. I am also really glad we could move on to other essential items on the list! Here's a review of my dining table. Picture taken from the showroom :: The key to the chosen one is that it must be walnut wood to match the table. Cost wise must be within our budget. Can't believe how expensive a dining chair can get! Here's are the candidates and our buy. Really hope it matches our table! If not... 01. Elbow Chair We have seen so many versions of this famous chair at different places and we really like it but not the price to customise it. Some places have cheaper versions but somehow the colour is not it and we were not allowed to customise. The closest we could find was this... I was sure it would match our dining table, pocket friendly too but Ken doesn't like the orangey look. We were able to customise it at the shop where we bought our dining chair but the price is a big . 02. Alize Chair It caught Ken's eyes some time back and with the sale still ongoing, the price is more pocket friendly so it's a . COLOUR CHOSEN :: Same as display and matches my theme as it is grey and white! I like! Personally, I felt that the walnut veener is a little too dark but this is the best we could get. Too tired to look around more. hehe

Here are some pictures of our toilets. MBR :: Given that this is our first very own MBR toilet, we decided to splurge on it a little more. We got ourselves a Omni rainshower and a Cristo toilet bowl. Loves how the tap of the rainshower system could be stowed away when not needed. I didn't remember choosing the handle of my shower screen door... perhaps Ken did... hehehe... but I am so glad that it matches with my toilet paper holder, which are both more rectangular rather than the usual round. Common :: We didn't do much to this toilet except to change the original wash basin and add on a few sanitary accessories.

Thanks adidaem! Let me think about it! hehehe

Hi RemyLebeau, it came with our flat. I think all new HDB has it. If I am not wrong, Ikea has something like that. Go check it out.

This is the part 2 of the lights for our home. BEDROOMS + STUDY May consider chaging the light in the MBR to warm white. TOILETS :: T5 LIGHTS ONLY These lights weren't in the plan earlier. But since there is an additional switch for 2 lights in the toilets, my contractor suggested installing them. The L-shaped box panels were changed too. BOMB SHELTER + TOILETS SERVICE YARD
