    Thanks Potatoes, after hearing from u I feel better. Everyday went to visit the place, seeing the progress is so slow, making me depressed ! And the ID is very hard to contact as well. Seem like I got to take thing easy and don't put too much hope that the Reno can finish by 6weeks time.

    Very upset with the Reno progress, already into the 2nd week. But only hacking and one toilet has been done, each day only one staff is working. And due to the lack of communication with the ID & the worker, Mstr toilet tile was place it wrongly, the poor worker have to hack away some tile and redo again !

    Just now meet the designer and finalize the Design, colour & material of our house, now onboard AirAsia flight to fly off to Bali to celebrate our 2nd yrs Anniversary ! After come back on 22Sep, our Reno will be kick start the next day ~ Excited for the long waiting big day to come !

    Does anyone have any suggestion where I can get nice number plates for my main door? For all the fretting over the reno, I totally forgot I have to display my door number. Should I get those acrylic ones that are nicely printed on? Or those individual number type? Suggestions and advice please??

    i have no Choice leh ! coz there are so many scary reno experience out there, so my mom suggest to get someone we know so at lease anything happen, she can help me to talk with him and we have see his workmanship before, really not bad ! and for the little budget we have & he is able to help us to work out something that is suit us. :bow:

    Hi yuki&jason, we have shifted to our house last Dec. And here is our t-blog Our house is very simple and minimalist. Although we have completed our renovation, I still like to hang out in this forum to see other people's design. It's quite enjoyable reading the t-blogs here.

    Hi Sheepz, thks for sharing. i just realize that ur blog is the very 1st blog i read about the Minimalist design, and we love it very much ! as u can see we have alot of similar space planning. "think i got alot of idea from ur blog" :thumbs up:

    yup it is realli bad, can see the rusting metal beams inside the ceiling :jawdrop:

    i suspect there is water leakage from upstairs, heard from my friend they need to hack and re do water proofing upstairs neighbor. hope they dun mind. :curse:

    meeting HDB to check and hopefully fix this during my reno.

    hope it wont come back again :dunno:

    Hi bbbbbb128, lucky the water leaking is before the Reno start so still have time to rectify the problem.

    imaging after the reno complete, that is even worse right !

    i'm sure HDB will have to sort out the thing for u.

    Yo bedokian, we also have similar layout just that our master bedroom has a toilet (which is your bathroon). The toilets are small!! So we shift our vanity into our bedroom for the master bedroom to accomodate the shower screen. The kitchen is big so we divide out a dinner area.

    Hi Sheepz, i'm doing the same thing. shifted out vanity into masterbed room, and shorten our kitchen and extend to the living room. :drunk:

    Thanks Yuki&Jason. Haha...ya..it's a LONG wait. Congrat to u also getting ur key sooon. The floorplan looks big only nia, the actual house looks much smaller becoz of the weird layout which confined by the fixed structure. Sian thousand times. So u found ur ID already?

    not bad lar, at lease much better then mine. yes, engages a contractor which is my mom old friend but the uncle is super busy, always need to chase him to send me the quotation and drawing. :bangwall:
