  1. I have no photos of them in the new house yet except in the first few post when we gotten our keys and my furkid was caught in the living room. Here are some other photos of them :
  2. Day 40 Kitchen Concrete Sink Some updates. Progression have been slow again. Mr K was suppose to arrange for false ceiling this week but seems like he is still arranging since last week the materials have been brought over. Hmmmmm.... The kitchen sink is up and 90% done. Most of my work till now have been done by 1 of Mr. K's subcon. Been really slow, was told by Mr. K that more worker will come by on the 2nd week but now have been the 2nd or 3rd and there is only 1 worker still. Grout yet to be filled : Bathroom's shower kerb covered up with woodtiles : MBR bathroom sit down concrete. 100% and covered with woodtiles
  3. Day 39 City Gas Gas piping for Heater and stove came. We gotten Ferrori from City Gas during their Toa Payoh event in September. This is how we pull the gas piping, it will be conceal when the carpentry goes up. Some other updates : Service Yard sink is up and would need some touch up. This sink will be for cleaning dirty clothes and other cleaning apart from the kitchen sink for cooking : Space below might be able to be our furkid's toilet :

  6. Hi~ Thanks for dropping by. My wood tiles was part of my renovation package i went down to hafary from Mr. K's recommendation that his account is under hafary and we could select tiles from 3 different places, 1 of it to be Hafary. As for the Mitsubishi Inverter 2x2 system 2, our quote was 5.2k provided mentioning our name otherwise they would not know. Could email Cynthia frm Cool Force again to double confirm the pricing.
  7. Update Continues : Flooring is finally done with grout fillings Corridor : Getting Ready for tomorrow's basin work for service yard : Waste Pipe properly align and hidden Look what are these ~ Its false ceiling boards After False Ceiling is the Aircon from Cool Force will be up again, 2 x compressor and 4 units. 9. Day 35 Floor Tiles Complete More updates Living Room wood tiles complete : Tomorrow will be filling in the grouting for the wood tiles. False Ceiling will be up next week and it is safe kept in the MBR in front. Totally din't expect Mr. K to be so fast on getting the false ceiling arrange and moved in. His worker has been trying to bring across to us that after the tiling is done, Mr. K will get things moving quickly. True enuff, false ceiling is in and will be up next. Remember seeing a post about Mr. K's tiling worker. I dont think its the same tiling worker mentioned but concluded that Mr. K's tiling worker might all be having bad mood faces. This tiling worker we had a great time having him doing our tiling work but he does not likes to talk and is really serious with his work. Looking forward to the progress next.
  10. LOL! no problem~ and thanks. Her t-blog is more detailed and much longer but i feel the fb photos are nicer to see. But its a little too little. Want to see more~
  11. Nice to see you here too~ I guess yours still tilt more towards Scandi, it looks more scandi except for your football tiles? It feels a little sporty and peranakan. Mind if i add you on fb? I have yet to see finish the whole album of your renovations. I did not checked with Alan for a quotation which we should have. We were pretty confident with K so went with K and bargain after his quotations. Was mentioning to Christine about the familiar console and the 3D subway tiles you have and she was totally clueless about what my hubby and I were talking about. Such a coincidence. Nice reno you have.
  12. Hi!! Regina? Yes, its Christine's Chandelier which we helped them purchase from Taobao. She have shown me photos of your reno on Facebook and we love your reno! Was wondering who you engage and you engage Alan for your reno.

My friend love the chandelier very much.
  17. Hi francisg, No worries, Mr. have checked that they bend the copper pipe before stuffing it in, he was there and mentioned that the workers had a hard time bending it. I confirmed with him about it too. Im not too sure about this method but was told that they have bend it. Thanks for bringing it up. 20. Thanks~ am looking forward for his each day process, hopefully the end work will blend in nicely. We have yet to try the downlights, installation part will be at the nearing end. We got square as we prefer and felt that square will fit our theme better, we prefer the sleak neat lines of square downlights instead of the curvy round ones. So it depends on individual. Our lights are 8w thats the lowest watt we could find. As we are thinking of energy saving as well thus look for the lowest watt, further more we have alot of lighting points in the house so if downlight itself is not able to light up the rm we will switch on cove lights if its still not bright enough we still have track and pendant lights in the living room.

  23. Day 29 Went down and took a look : Grout not filled: This week, things have been moving fast and it is only one of Mr. K's worker who is doing all these! All of the brick wall and kitchen's concrete and all the cement screed were done by just one person. Work will continue and next tuesday, aircon will be install~
  24. Oh my! falling loose bricks? even after a day or 2 of the grouted brick wall, realised there was some fine lines in the grout. Cement grout really is easily cracked.
