Hi Peeps, I have been to the new International Furniture Centre and IMM. Two of the most recommended places to shop for furnitures. But I have not found any place that sell the above furnitures. Currently I only discovered one shop in kaki bukit which sell these. Price are rather steep though. And I know these furnitures dont come cheap. So does anyone have any recommendations?

Viewing By Ids

I think most IDs will sound offended. Though they (IDS) know that its likely everyone will source for many IDs at once. Its like showing them like they r real desperate for ur business and let them fight it out. ANother thing is that it might show that u r insincere to individual IDs. Thats what i felt. -
Actually i beg to differ on certain points u highlighted. Contractors dont necessary have better workmanship than IDs. Some ID firms have their own factory to produce their own carpentry, own workers, own materials etc. For 3D drawings. I know that many IDs will pass the drawing to a third person to draw it on omputers. Certain IDs i met admit that they dont draw the 3 D on computer cause they r already 30 plus 40 plus... 'old' already where got energy learn. These IDs r usually the more experienced one if u wana put it positively....negatively.....u can say they dont bother to upgrade.. And yes i believe contractors can be hired at a much cheaper price. Maybe sme beg to differ, my opinion is that if u enter someone house,....one look u can tell is design by ID or not....as ID usually carry out a theme. Whereas DIY designing usually dont bring out the theme from non artistic ideas people.

Hi its morgulboy again. I am one of the lucky owners of Tampinies Sim Lian. And my unit with be ready at year end. The place is a rather move-in condition minus the lightings. I need some Renovations to bring out the Modern, European, Victoria theme. And i believe this is the time to check out the different ID firms' quotation and ideas. So I need feedbacks to very roughly how much damage these works will give me. Living Rm -repaints of whole house -feature wall (maybe to cover up the bomb shelter door too) -sections of wallpaper (for dining corner) - dining corner with section of button-cushion wall and mirror. - lightings - construction of study room Masterbed Rm - combine 2 rm (plus walk in wardrode) - wallpaper - lightings - (plus ideas by ID) These are minimum changes needed. Once again many thanks to the people that even bother to browse through.

thanks yokine9a. I was thinking IT fair too. But does IT fair comes with warranty of 3-5 years? actually the design of the LCD is also a factor. It got to be a candy to the eye as well. But generally most LCD designs r black and sleek. The LG ones a bit weird to me coz the bottom centre has a big hole.

Hi people, I am still deciding which brand to buy for my new home. LG has a *****, but not really to my liking. I have heard TOshiba and Sharpe has better quality than Samsung. (I am using 32" Samsung in my room now). I feel that Samsung is so-so, so I left it out of my list. Also, Whats the difference between buying at Audiohouse and Bestdenki/HarveyNorman. I know that Bestdenki/HarveyNorman does comes with 3-5 years of warranty. All recommandations r truely appreciated.

Hi people, its nice to get involved in something again. After the wedding comes the housing. My new home is in Tampines Sim lian. And my reno theme is Modern Victoria. So I will need advice and recommendations on shops which r popular and fair on pricing. - Furnitures (prefer those with victoria feel) - Carpets ( those big piece type that can cover the whole sofa area) - Curtains (well, just need to be reputable and fair pricing) Many thanks to those that are involved in adding to my shopping list of places.
