    IKEA's stainless steel is puzzling.. I've a set of cutlery from IKEA.

    It comes in 24 pieces, 10 of them are in use, they are in contact with water and left in the frequent used cutlery stand. Whereas the other 14 pieces are kept dry in storage, in one of the kitchen drawers...

    Lately, I accidentally threw away one spoon in a takeaway box, so I had to fish out a new spoon from those in the drawers. Guess what, it's rusty, all of them are rusty?? :unsure: They are supposed to be new, unused, kept dry in a drawer, what's with the rust??

    In your case,its not totally stainless steel.what you having should b stainless steel coated nia.

    there's a difference in term of product & price tag too.

    It's chalkboard paint..the bomb shelter was magnetic to begin with..can be erased!

    May i know where can i get this type of so called "chalkboard paint"

    yup,me too.

    product not that effective or so called "magical"(at least not for me)

    dont reli can hold onto things(even those that didnt exceed the product's recommeded max weight)for long period of time.My longest record is about 6 months,before things came crashing down.

    I have try few of them but still not so good. :furious:

    Mayb it's my problem :dunno:

    As we all know, shoes, handbags and clothes are a woman's best friend.

    When the design plan was revealed to us, I was wondering where my or rather our shoes are to be placed as it was no where to be found on the plan.

    We were open to using part of the bomb shelter to store our shoes but I am concerned that we will bring in alot of sand into the house, which will make cleaning worst for me.

    Upon request, his uncle designed the following shoe cabinet, which was to be placed next to our main door and thought of a clever way to ensure our main door can open to its max.

    As you can see, our shoe cabinet is a moveable one. There are hinges to attach the shoe cabinet onto the wall next to it so that when we need to move big items into our home, our main door can still be opened to its max! :dancingqueen:

    Ya Venom, that is my intention. But worry it will crack sooner or later.

    crack sooner or later?? :dunno: due to what?kids/bobo people?

    as long as you secure it properly onto the wall,i cant tink of any high chances it will crack by itself.

    my old hse's one been hanging for more than 5yrs le,nothing happen le.

    What do you do with the stainless steel ventilation hole? I find it really ugly. Is it allowed to cover up the hole?

    Like what i did, i got the "hands" of a clock & paste over it.

    yup,

    wind is powerful & cooling...BUT its because you are in the air-con area(@ retail shops like COURTS/BD/HN etc).

    the air-con from the surrounding does give you e "feel" that its "powerful".

    But when you try it under normal temp room(just with the fan "on")there not much power.

    **IMHO,Only thing good is easy maintainance.
