  1. Hi Roger, u are wrong....

    Malaysia company can be dangerous... What happened if u pay deposit and they dun deliver...

    What is going to happen... Is not easy to get them to refund u....

    I am sure malaysia is going to be worse than sg... even though sg funiture line are very jialet liao....

    Go Hommage... Very gd... Nice boss and cheap nice funiture... I bought mine from there...

    U know I saw exact the same round small coffee table at red apple selling for $250 which is only selling for $50 at hommage... Same design... Go down take a look...

    I went to jb to find Miva today, but they not open..Sian.. But went to other furniture shops(at least 10) around that area(Jalan molek)

    Came across this shop call WHITE HOUSE. The furniture there super stylo and designer look!!! Not ex at all!!

    The sales girl Jane is super friendly, ask me if I was urgent to buy or not, if not can go to the furniture fair next week to buy, can get better pricing and more free gifts!!! Solid right?? Seldom got salesperson let go of a rabbit that walks in but Jane told us to do that!

    Delivery is free(jane say even rm 500 product also free), levy is rm300, but for fair She say levy 50% discount!! Swee right?

    But only issue I see is that they are quite new in the market, ard 2 yrs only, so not very sure of their quality and reliability. Any one bought from them before?

    PS: after this visit , I dun see any reason to buy furniture from Singapore anymore unless u wan branded stuff or stimulate Singapore's economy! :)


  2. lol...just my luck...i didnt saw this post only after i order dining set, sofa and coffee table from FCC 3 months ago..

    Suppose to deliver today evening which i expected latest at 9plus they come...then at 10.35pm a few minutes ago...they call and tell me they can deliver at 12am...i told them its ridicuous...12am is too late...and they mention will arrange delivery again...lucky for them that i'm not in a hurry..tomorrow going to call their office to complain.

    Gd luck to u... complain oso useless... they are well known for delay delivery


  3. Once court order is out... They will definitely have to turn up... If they do not, they could be arrested under law of court... Dun worry, go file the claim... Pls dun wait... I really hate to see such company laughing w our hard earn money...

  4. Hi guys.. i strongly recommend rum as ID

    He has done a great job and has good attitude and very patient on my landed house .

    About his arrogance i can only say designer have abit of attitude on the design but over all if the design is to help the owner to create space and save on budget that very good rite :)

    Seriously, there are many ID outside that are good... We are paying hugh amount of money... Not worth to endure their arrogance.... No matter how gd they gd, their attutide sux, u will vomit... why pay to suffer... My advise is to skip such ID...

    which of these 2 hob brands is better/suitable for Asian cooking?

    Hobz or turbo?

    storage or gas or multipoint water heater?

    is gas dryer good as compared to those electrical dryer?

    I'm looking to buy the above stuffs for new HDB flats

    I used turbo... So far so gd... price is gd, and product is nice and gd...

    Storage heater is better cos gas heater the water will not be hot if the wind is too big... The wind blow off the gas...


  6. i really wonder how can hacking be individually priced. My reno guy told me its by lumpsum. So surprised to see 1 item as $333, another is $342. Anyhow 'bong' the amount? Also, how come hack kitchen floor, the base don't just kena hacked at same time? why billed separately? Which renovation is this????

    It reminds of a reno firm that quote- hack toilet bowl, hack basin. Already got hacked wall tiles, don't all these automatically fall off from the wall? So can i say don't remove the basin & toilet bowl but only the tiles, so tat i do not need to pay installation fees? lol.

    Actually, the quotation is far over priced... they are charging you things that is done free w others....

    My advise to skip this company... Super over priced...


  7. I noticed that most complaints here are from companies that always participate in those furniture shows at the expo throughout the year. Doing business in Singapore is so easy.

    For those who have difficulties w them, I guess the best way to get back refund is to make big fuss during their exhibition at expo... Even if u cant get back ur money, at least let other know of what they did...


  8. I'm still in the midst of my reno. As I'm not in a hurry to move in so I can afford to wait. Actually most of the small matters,he will hand to Jaylen to settle but for big events like prior to start of renovation he will be there personally to assign instructions to respective contractors and during materials selections for carpentry he will sit down with you to discuss the laminate designs so basically I have 2 ID to attend to my needs. On site coordination work by their project manager Richard is also smooth and fast as well. So far, wet work no complain, next week carpentry will be in then I will judge the workmanship.

    Mine reno was handled by darren single handlely.... Well job is gd except he is super busy and took quite a long time... But i was not in hurry so it was fine... And after sale service is there... Cos my tap was faulty after 2 month moving in.... Called him and his guy changed a new one for me FOC... So nv regret engaging him...

    I heard so many complaint about other ID... Lucky I got darren...

    Guess I will not advise my colleague to take up homeway... Doesnt sound gd base on what u say...

    Btw to be clear, this is the Homeway at Joo Chiat (ground floor)

    And after the "junior" guy cannot handle me, the senior guy's card states he's from lifestyle i.D.

    Is Homeway and lifestyle i.D from same company?


  10. I quote this story from comlaintboard... It was terrible... If i were the customer, I will give the sale person a punch on the face...

    "We went to the Expo exhibition on 2 Oct 2011 and came across excellence home gallery pte ltd booth (their office and showroom is located at 30 Kallang pudding road #04-03 Valiant industrial building).The sales man Elson seah is obviously untrained as he is unable to advise on how many rolls of wallpaper we need when we told him the measurement of our wall. It was until when we get to know measurement of one roll of the wallpaper, before we concluded that two rolls is sufficient for us. We ordered two rolls of wallpaper and FULL payment was made. We were told that the delivery would be made on 29 Oct 2011.

    One day before the actual delivery, I received a call late afternoon that the delivery of the wallpaper would be delayed and could only delivered and installed on 10 Nov 2011. I requested for delivery on the 12 Nov that falls on a Saturday and asked what would be the delivery time. I was told that they would check and get back to me, no calls was received.

    On 12 Nov 11, I called the office, wanting to check what is the delivery time but the office is closed on the weekend, I called the sales man Elson, it was only on my 5th call (he have refused to pick up the call) before I finally get to speak to him. He mentioned that he needs to check and get back to me. After waiting for half hour, I have to call back as he did not, to check on the staus. Again, repeated calls before he finally pick up my call and told us "didnt my office call you?" FINALLY, the office staff - named Marcus, returned call and to my dismay, after clarification my order which he got it wrong the first time, was told that the delivery has actually only arrived today! We were very angry as they have mentioned the wrong delayed delivery date, did not bother to call the customer even when the delayed date was delayed again. And worse, they lied that calls was made to us! We requested for refund, only to received excuses and excuses before we decided to give this company also chance as they promised to deliver the following sat which was 19 Nov 11. Elson PROMISED that if the delivery and installation was not done by 19 Nov 11, full refund would be given. Again, he mentioned that the delivery guy would call one day before the actual delivery but no calls was received.

    On 19 Nov 11, the delivery is finally here at 12pm, to our horror, the wall paper was wrong!!! can you imagine? A check on the DO, we realised that the wall paper product number was written but was blank off. IT was issued by Marcus. It was obvious that he has deliberately issued the wrong wallpaper. A call to him and elson came to the same excuses, wrong order done. We have told Elson for full refund as promised by him the week before, he denied and refused. We have given up hope on this company who refused to let us talk to their boss. We have decided to bring this matter to CASE as nothing could be done since full payment was collected from them.

    A company who took the full payment and deliberately denied all promises and lied to customers! Any one who visited the exhibition, pls be careful on such cheating cases!"


  11. Finally there are ppl receiving refund.... U are right to say refund is not a form of compensation...

    If things work well in the first place, refund is not even needed....

    So glad this forum this thread is helping others so that they are wary of this shop....

    yes i have received my refund n t loan set removed by yest. n yes of cos i know my husband is nice, too nice to allow the initial delays to happen n thus i stepped in thereafter.

    i agreed with others here that by refunding us doesnt means it compensate us in our mental stress, time chasing n calling after a number dat is always engaged and, ridiculous excuses. refund was just a mandate thing to do, it wasnt compensation in any form. so pls do not think that by refunding us, u can restore credit n faith and make us look like we are troublemakers despite a refund.

    our experience n voices here will help others in similar plight to know what other avenues and choices they have, than to just suffer the stress and ordeal in silence.

    aside to all, many thanks for sharing info and updates throughout the past few months. appreciate all help n tips.


  12. Really sad that such company are still surviving....And they still say settle in your favour... so ironic...

    I really pity those who bought from them... The delay, the effort to chase, no after sale service...

    I think they only want to do 1 time business.... No one will ever go back to them...

    Really hope this thread can share among all ppl in singapore...

    Yes. My case has been settle in 15th Feb which is 12 Days ago. (NOT long enough compare to your 3 months delay)

    I don't need your favour if you delivered all the furniture on 8th Nov 2011. ok?

    1. Do you ever consider that I was applying leave and waiting for your stupid furniture and no body inform?

    2. My phone bill to chase your irresponsible sales people. (You guys only take action and call me after this thread has become so popular in this forum).

    3. Also note that, we accept your bed frame and mattress at your original price.

    If I ask for those compensation, that will be more than what you offer to me.


  13. But sandblasted door is definitely better than Pddoor.... That is for sure...

    I wouldn't recommend sandblast door which used to be "fashionable" a long time ago.

    Out of ignorance as consumers, we chose sandblasted sliding doors for both toilets & ended up with deep regrets. The maintenance was a real nightmare. If any oil based products or hair gel or whatever chemicals got onto the side that is coated with sand, then it's probabbly a lost cause.

    U will have to live with it becox there is very little u could do to make aesthetic improvements on the door. There will be patchy stains all over. And since the door would be getting wet very often, I believe that those water marks would show up.

    We should have gone for a PVC panel instead of sandblasted glass doors.

    Sandblasted doors are also not for those with pets roaming at home. I need not elaborate further becox u could imagine what's going to happen...


  14. Actually their price oso not cheap...

    I went and the uncle quote me a price which i can get a Havey norman after i ask for discount...

    I oso find their thing old there... so didnt buy from them in the end... Not worth the risk...

    Go reputable like best, hv, courts... at least they got customer service to handle complaint...

    After reading much positive reviews on EverJoint, I decided to buy the water heater (Joven 25L) from them. Indeed, they are selling a reasonable price (ie. $359 with installation svr). However, I learnt the lesson that GOOD THING DOES NOT COME CHEAP! The installation was done on 6 Feb 2012, but it broke down last week, which is less than 1 month!

    I called up Everjoint and was answered by a guy who cannot speak properly, except repeating that "they have nothing to do with it, as their are only the agent, so just call Joven directly...." :curse:

    Luckily, Joven did send their staff down and realised that when everjoint installed the heater, the installation was faulty! The worst thing is that the everjoint uncle did not install the pipes correctly, as he did not install the 3rd pipe which is supposed to let the excess hot water to be drained out of the storage tank. This meant that if I were to forget switching off the heater, it will explode as there is no pipe to drain out the excess heat!!! :o

    So what if they are offering cheap deal while compromising the most impt safety issue! Not forgetting that how irresponisble and lack of after-sale service everjoint is! If i'm the sole unlucky customer of everjoint, I hope this feedback could at least serve as a precaution for other pple...


  15. I really do not want to condemn them... But facts are facts... they are really horrible...

    Advise to those who consider buying from them.... Unless u want nightmare, if not walk away from this shop no matter how nice their things are... Service lousy and turn face once signed... exact item that could cost few hundred dollar cheaper at other shop... One word... horrible....

    And I would also advise forumers to be wary when following forums that has lots of negative reviews and feedbacks... Some times it could be a ploy to undermine sales or sometimes it could be de same person posting under different user names.... But I understand that as consumers, we at times get ultimately frustrated and angry wen things don go as plan especially for Furniture wise as we depend on dem.... But lets also not totally condemn ppl as things change...

    I just ordered a mattress and bedframe yesterday from them and my saleperson was Ken... Seems like a very nice guy... Thankfully I only require the mattress and frame after 2 months... The mattress was super comfy and I got it at a super price... I have not paid in full yet altho Ken asked for full payment... I will be harrying him from next month onwards.... Hope I won't have bad experience as the delivery date is further...
