    Let dun talk about how durable pddoor is... Is the bad service by the company that pissed off ppl...

    If u can bear w it... then u can consider engage it... I sure u will regret...

    For those who complained about bad workmanship, it'll be good to substantiate their claims with photographs for all readers to judge.

    While I was hunting around for a supplier to my kitchen doors & vanity drawers for the recess area below my windows, I was very tempted to engage PD doors becox of the pretty designs. They had an "expensive" look & would add a designer style to any of our homes which is extremely desirable for us as home owners. :good:

    However, after speaking to the sales rep, I wasn't sure if things would work out. The sales rep also gave me an impression that they were out to close every single deal & back then when we visited their factory in Eunos, they didn't have a showroom. :unsure:

    From my perspective, their mechanism isn't catered for heavy usage & rough handling. Say, if the tenants were to use PD doors, I didn't think they'll last & probabbly fall apart in no time. As such, I do share the sentiments of renotalk member, ossify where the usage of PD doors is concerned.

    Recently, I spotted a PD door that was installed 2 years ago in a fashion boutique & it looks beautiful with great style. The proprietess claimed that the door was thrown in by her renovator 2 years ago & she was extremely satisfied with the workmanship & the installation looks great.

    I'm not sure what was going on behind doors where these 2 suppliers are concerned. Sometimes they might have lost their best installers & fabricators... or ... not sure... but after my bad experience with the installer for my chimney hood & reading up alot about problematic aircons straight after the installation, I did realise that it's not easy to get good installers though it's still possible to do so.

    If installation is extremely important in the busines equation of PD door, then the management should do something about it.

    And have they promise a refund? Excellence Admin say ur issue is not settle and there were no reporter...

    So who is telling a lie??

    Excellence Admin, Please put down ur name and contact number for us to contact u directly....

    There are alot ppl suffering bcos of ur logistic issue... Customer shd not suffer due to ur internal problem...

    Ppl do not want to know any reason or excuse of the delay of delivery.... they just want their item in time...

    What is the use of telling ppl logistic problem, so things delay... Then who will want to buy from u in future...

    Hi, can you please please please pm me a little more hint who is he??? Thanks. PL is one of our shortlisted firms and we are always worried that they will go back on their words once we have signed the contract be it PL or other firms.

    U might want to consider looking for Darren beside other ID... But the problem is Darren is always very busy bcos there are alot ppl looking for him... So if reno thing start, u might need to rush him cos he got alot house in his hand...

    For mine, he took close to 3 months to complete... But i am not in hurry, so is ok... and the thing is he did rectify every fault that i bring out... Very responsible...

    michelle. u can try to get in touch wif the fair organiser first. By the way, for details of the meetup better to discuss privately lest excellence (which is not at all) see this n safeguard themselves... better to catch them offguard.. ALso, have u contact the reporters???

    Quite pointless to contact organiser... They will still rent booth to them...

    I think we shd instead discuss openly... I really quite curious to know how they going to prevent us going to expo...

    It is a public place... What we can do is to tell ppl about their bad service... so long we are speaking the truth, they cant do anything... Not even the police can stop us as we did not do anything unlawful..

    and to think i have actually emailed most organisors about our plight..and they can still get a booth at Expo...

    we have decided to go the small claims route with them cos they refuse to refund before collecting the T-loan set...n have even ask us to return original invoice to them upon collection of T-loan set...what if the cheque bounced? we dont want to be left with no furniture and no invoice...

    have prepared all documents, forms, and emails correspondence to go to small claims...dont know how long this will drag on...can get the stakeholders details thru ACRA online...

    Dun bother fedup... Go to expo and make a fuss.... They will sure refund u de...

    If they dun, make sure they dun get the business in expo... They will know how to calculate which is the more profit way... Support michelletan action...

    we got a new "story" from them, call and tell me this time color combi correct but dimension wrong, wont be able to deliver by 20th Jan.

    Say they will order another sofa with a slightly 2cm different from my original order cos supplier cannot do the exact dimension that i original ordered.

    I refuse to continue waiting, told them i want to cancel order n get back my refund, wrote them email on this.

    Daren replied n said they already ordered the replacement sofa with the slight 2cm difference from my original order, so cant refund me back...WTH!!! i replied telling him i did not agree to getting that replacement or continue waiting for something that will never come!!!

    im freaking angry now...freaking freaking angry!!

    Hi Fedup, why dun u make a trip of their office and make a fuss... Email no chance to get back your refund for sure...

    Go down make a fuss i suggest...

    We have gone thru' the same problem with kane. Took 90% of the payment and did work worth 40%. Did not do the entire carpentry work/ flooring and painting...which we had to get it done seperately. He is such a cheat. Would love to punish him. Were planning to go to small court next week. I know of one more family who too are in the same problem. Can we all meet up and then take this forward. please contact me with your details and I could call you up and arrange a meeting.

    What is his new company name?? Maybe u can share with us so that we wont go...

    Hi all,

    I'm collecting key soon and I am considering PL. Anyone liaise with Tim? So far, nobody mentioned his name here. Many ppl mentioned about good service here but beside service, I think workmanship is very impt too. Can those who engaged PL share their workmanship with us?

    So far, Pl has given me a reasonable quote that's why I'm considering them =)

    Not too sure who is Tim... My house was completed by PL... good service...carpentry is good too... and best is that the boss is very responsible person... will rectify problem if things goes wrong... Hiccups will happen in reno, most impt is things are resolved...

    I think you wont regret signing for PL... Anything wrong, go to the boss... he is very responsible...

    Hmmm.... That's my comment on their service only. As what they do to your colleague, you have to check with them. I'm their customer only. Btw this forum is open for the Purpose of Complaint only? :(

    Not that the forum is only for complaint... just too coincidence that u just joined to make a comment for everlink...

    So i suspect u are from the company (99% cfm)... Trying to save the company reputation...

    I'm very satisfied with their Quality & Services. Although my wife is a Fussy person & they patiently explain everything to us. Pricing is reasonable & meet our requirements! We're moving in next wednesday. (Thanks Everlink)

    U look suspicious... guess u must be someone from everlink since u just joined yesterday to post a good comment on them...

    I dare not comment on them cos i didnt use them.... but 1 of my colleague is a customer of everlink and he whole house was in a mess... Lousy workmanship plus no coordination as mentioned by him...

    Yuna, if u are someone from everlink, hope u can explain y the situation happened on my colleague,...

    Hi,

    I am quite new in this forum, just want to seek some advise with u guys out there. Recently i just signed a package but find that some portion of the quotation that my ID give abot expensive.

    My new home is a 4 room flat in punggol, this part abt installing window grills with curtain pelmet for 1 living room, 1 master bed room, 2 common bedroom and installing window cum window grill at service yard cost $2320..

    The breakdown as below:

    Living room: $370

    Master bedroom: $390

    Bedroom 1: $250

    Bedroom 2: $300

    Service yard: $1010

    Are the above expensive for the whole house window?

    Is the window grill white powder coated??? If not, then it is very expensive... If it is, then it still slight high... can get cheaper outside

    My doors and solid surface worktop are finally up.

    But to my surprise, when i went to my hse today, there is not workers but my door is wide open. Only my gate is pad locked.. wow... dunno it was open for how long... so scary...

    After all the trouble, we finally managed to get the exact doors that we wanted.. hahaha... lucky.. at least effort not wasted.. Though the hse is not cleaned yet, I already cant wait to move it...

    Tomorrow is another hectic day for me... Ikea will be coming to fix the 3m cabinet in study room and the 2 wardrobes in study and children room.... wonder how long they will take....

    Do u have a glassback for your kitchen??? Do 1 if u dun have... use black... it will be very nice...

    Take a look at my kitchen pic in forum... My cabinet are oso white like u... but added a piece of black glassback... The effect is awesome... **** nice...
