    Hi Sohnice

    I still haven't got mine as still have some reservations on this. One year sound like a pretty short lifespan. Any thing you particularly like about this that make you decide to get the same thing again?

    I had a few friends bought another model u50g with touch screen interface. They told me the IR recording only record a few seconds and the person need to come very near in order to start recording. It only record a few seconds and once the person leave your door the recording will stop. Why I bought back the same model? Because it is still cheaper than conventional cctv but if you need to record loan shark harassment and mischievous action I would recommend conventional cctv. Because this kind of door peephole recorder need at least 5 seconds to boot up when IR is activated, by the time it start to record the damage is already done. There is no way you can record people stealing your things outside the door like what some seller advertise on his thread.

    My IntelliCorder is down after 1 year & the person who sold the recorder to me is not selling anymore.

    There are still ppl asking me where to buy the intellicorder.

    I managed to find it at aliexpress :D

    I bought it at US$115, converted to sing$ around $150. :thumbs up:

    The previous one cost me $320. :furious:

    Installation is quite simple IMO.

    It took me only 20mins to install. :thumbs up:

    True. And reviews are kinda important for imported products since there is no way to get a look and feel of it physically.

    Features advertised also not sure if it works and how well it works.

    I read on the feature list that when doorbell is pressed, it will make an announcement to visitor/stranger that owner is not in and to leave a video/voice message.

    Wondering if that can be turned off/disabled completely.

    The auto detect function not clearly explained too. Not sure if it records when detect activity or when doorbell pressed...

    So many uncertainties.

    I think if there isn't any setting to turn off the speaker announcement, you might need to dismantle the whole thing and desolder the speaker. :rolleyes:

    Sorry can I also ask a question, the dryer is like those separate dryer ? There is no need to air anymore ? Are the clothes very crumpled and is the process long from wash to dry ?

    It depends, if you have a full load of clothing you might need to air some clothings that are in the center. Not really very crumpled but the process take quite long from wash to dry, around 3-4hrs. So i don't really use it unless necessary.

    Hi icer,

    So far so good, got to get use to it. Previously using top load, can still open lid to throw in more clothing. Now using front load cannot add in additional clothing.

    May I have the contact details of your id contractor as i am now comparing quotations from other id as well.. really like the overall layout of your home.

    And if you dont mind, can share the amt and info on:

    1. the peephole

    2. ventilation fan in your toilets

    3. panasonic inverter aircon

    4. total renovation cost (u taking reno package for a 3rm or ala carte?)

    Thanks Sohnice. Sounds good, but this one doesn't have internet connection so I can't see when not at home... So this is not so much for break in cases but to see if your neighbour do funny things? Cos if break in, the burglar could take away the sd card or device too. Not sure if I understand the device correctly.

    Do you plug in to the power point to save battery? I don't have a power point near my door. not sure why I didn't install one power point there :( everytime I thot I plan properly but always got problem with electrical points. Could you also pm me the price? Thanks.

    Ya, if there is break in case the thief might take your sd card away. The thief must oso be very knowledgable to know so many device when breaking in. I doubt so he will still have time to search for the sd card after the break in.

    I don't plug in to save battery, I wait till the battery is flat then i will use extension socket to charge the set. The battery will last 3-4weeks depending on traffic flow outside your unit. If your reno is not fully done yet, you should be able to add in 1 more socket right?
