    P1050216.jpg

Last but not least the dual head tap from wholesale faucet that i reckon is the best deal in my kitchen!! The spray is powerful to wash all the dirt from the leftover stain from plates!

can help to measure the height of the top rack for the dishrack?

  2. hi~ so your kitchen is still under renovation? does it have soft closing system??

yes. kitchen is still under reno. only the bases are being done atm. plus electrical works. the cabinets not yet confirmed

Why is it a bad choice if you bought many things? Is it because of the damage on your wallet? :P

because i think the carnival price is not as good pricing as wad i wanted ma. hahahah

  3. Hw much the add on? I saw a rainahower set on sale at 288 then some I saw around 480

depends on the rainshower head u choose....

i think u need to get

    one shower head mount

    one shower head

    one ss pipe

    one 3 way "switch"

with the shower head i chosen.....i paid $230 + for one set.

  4. Hm I like it but seems a waste to remove the new showers :( ..

Furthermore i keeps on having Ideass for my place .. Now thinking do a third mirror in my dining area ...

Poh Joo has this rain shower add on for those with existing shower systems.

the problem is u need a 3-way switch/faucet to connect.

  5. purchase updates

also went to philips carnival over weekend. (bad choice LOL)

wife fast hand fast legs grab the black air fryer, bought rice cooker, vacuum cleaner, one radio/clock and one iphone dock

i grabbed 3 sets of the easy scene. for the remotes. but now have 6 CDL easyscene bulbs thinking to put where :dunno:

also went to courts...to confirm the colour for the bedframe and headboard. chose december for delivery....

  6. well so we have the common bathroom with giant trunking

    aircon13.jpg

my idea is to use it as a cove light by throwing a LED strip on top haha....dunnno if it will work.

this is the water pipe.....hopefully covered by vanity...wun see much of it.

    aircon14.jpg

I forgot to talk abt my aircon guy.....how could I?!??!

so far my honest review : he is not the cheapest. but he doesn't take short cuts. he is a one man show. (he dun believe in delegation) so he will personally do each and every pipe/trunking/drilling etc. see pictures above.

speed is considered fast? he started work on 27th Oct morning. 28th evening already send sms saying he finished all the prep work. ask us to let him know when painting of house is completed

I dunnid to worry about a thing at all. except for paying lor. :sport-smiley-004: anyway he did not collect deposit at all. he say pay when job and everything delivered swee swee.

so those who want contact lemme know lor :)

  7. Updates :

went to check the flat over weekend. met ID/carpenter/electrician to discuss on certain items to be done. apparently divider measurement in MBR to be increased after advice by carpenter. vanity in common bathroom to be increased to 3 ft instead of 2ft.

anyway aircon guy already settled all trunkings and pipes

    living room

    aircon1.jpg

connected through wall to bedroom, this portion should be hidden by wardrobe

    aircon2.jpg

then this portion should be boxed up with blower mounted here

    aircon3.jpg

  8. HI Simontsh,

Let me help you to post up the picture maybe TS should have better understanding on the chart. :thumbs up:

    ScreenShot2011-10-29at112835PM.png

As mine was just an min estimation on the distance since TS have limited viewing distance if TV >46" ? i assume :D

basically the chart means that only at large distances, then all screen sizes makes no difference.

at 10 feet (3m) you need diagonal screen size of 70-80 inches to get the full benefits of 1080p

IMO if u are a 1080p buff, meaning to say u watch hi-def movies alot, play games alot kind, at 3m....u need 42" minimum. most of the techies will recommend 46" and above tho :sport-smiley-004:

  9. haha, well...

Since you have FS Master.. there should be a reason behind it~

My idea just a practical daily routine that smooth out the whole living process :)

    Check this out:

    ScreenShot2011-10-29at12016PM.png

    42" LCD/LED/Plasma: 10.5 feet = 3.200 4 meter

    46" LCD/LED/Plasma: 11.8 feet = 3.596 64 meter at last

Just a rough estimation but i tested 46" at least >4meter not to stress too much on the eye

    Hope this helps

just a quick correction on tv distance.

    http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1866569

for a start, u need to know ur usage. watch normal tv only? or alot of HD stuff? like soccer, movies etc? if u are a movie buff....resolution to look at should usually be 1080p?

  10. IMO

it depends on which storage heater and usage style.

how many are there in the house? will both showers be used concurrently often?

if yes, you probably need a big sized storage heater.

pros : one heater only. save installation

cons : when u switch on, u heat alot of water up. (say u take 35L heater, only one person is going to shower. but when u switch on heater, it heats up 35l of water)

or u can install 2 small ones but that means 2 installations. But u also save on the piping.

up to the individual usage pattern IMO.

  11. Glad to hear that your reno starting this this week....2 more days! hehe

good looting on weekend ya ~

    "From song cho

Steel profiles for kitchen cabinets - 620

Kitchen faucet with spray - 400"

Can i ask something, those cabinet we customize do not comes with cabinet design right?

eg. what space saving we need, which compartment to stores kitchen appliances and so on.~~

Ohh u bought the kitchen faucet :sport-smiley-004:

Can share pic for this hehe

forgot to take pic haha....probably will take another 4 weeks to see it i guess but if i got walk pass i will go take a picture.

anyway its similar to last item here. just that got one additional spray

    http://www.wel-mi.com.sg/products/prodlist.aspx?cateid=80

  12. Take note for the kitchen faucet with spray you mentioned, you need a height clearance of minimal 50cm for the small version and i think 70 cm for the original version

This may be a problem for those where you have dish racks planned on top of the kitchen sink. Your disk rack may need to be placed quite high which will make it out of normal reach, especially for shorties like me

After some walking, i found that song cho has a faucet with spray. Stainless steel as well. The height is less than 40cm. But the bad point is it has no mixer, so only cold water.

After discussion, we decided dunnid mixer (we dun have heater for hot water in kitchen anyway)

The faucet is retailing at 400 at song cho

  13. haha Bun u also using sky (price so high) :)

    Yeah Simon,

Guess what, im not touching 2 bedrooms too! n mine was quoted at 34k now no hacking for living all too...no false celing...haha
