For the kitchen windows, u may wish to consider putting up blinds lor, tho not many ppl put up blinds or even curtains for kitchen windows. I'm putting up blinds for mine cos I hacked off the wall between kitchen n living room, thus no privacy if there's no blinds. Lol.. Do u do heavy cooking? If yes, better to either invest in a powerful hood if u are not intending to put up glass doors in replacement of the hacked wall.. Btw, our layout n orientation are exactly the same

So excited. Final stage of reno liao.. Next week will be doing the final touch-up, installations of all the minor works for the carpentry & table tops. After dat final chemical wash & can hand over the hse le. Furnitures delivery will be next weekend. Yet to scout for suitable dining chairs & balcony chairs/table for my cosy/smoking corner tho.. Targeted move-in date: Week of 28th Jan

Bottom line: work within the space for the freedom thou seek..

Of cos onsite measurements are impt too. Also, certain planning gotta wait for other stuffs to be in place before deciding, so dat we can gauge the actual measurements n the practicality onsite.

Main door and gate: Hood & sink installed: * awaiting solid top for kitchen, granite top for dining & cooker hob to be installed on Mon.

Haha.. Datz why I always say dat space planning is impt My granite is one piece.
