  1. wow. really so bad meh? sofa's conditions so bad that it can only be found at Salvation Army? http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=44801
  2. now even got people ridiculed me for buying this cheap cheap sofa from bedsspecialist and told me its better to get from Salvation Army.... worst experience ever ever.... online furniture shopping....worst ever ever eve ver eve ver ver ever
  3. The reason why its so cheap is due to the PU leather... not real leather. half real leather can make a 3-seater sofa cost $400-600 more than a PU leather version. thats y many Half Leather 3 seater sofas cost around $600 - $900. Full leather sofas will cost at least $1000 more than PU leather version

  5. Well this product is still being sold by Bedsspecialist... so just to warn potential buyers... to know the quality of their product...
  6. Ya... maybe BedsSpecialists' product not so good and match those Salvation Army types...although the products are sold as new products...
  7. are there many people who bought furnitures from webstores and discovered defects in the furnitures? maybe the furniture are returned by other customers and then resold to these webstores for selling to unknowing customers...who knows. where do furnitures with some defects "hidden in some dark corners"... end up in? webstores or as display sets?
  8. Now I wondering if such online stores are set up to get rid of defective items...from a collection of furniture stores in Singapore?
  9. It's my bad for choosing to buy furniture from an unknown furniture company selling stuff online.... now very much regret it... this bedsspecialist webstore dont allow reviews on their site...unlike www.Beds.sg wheer u can see customers' reviews good/bad...
  10. Bedsspecialist does not want to do anything about these defects.... just bought it for less than 2 weeks before discovering these problems... So hooping to find manufacturer on the warranty. Do anyone know which company make this sofa? most likely Malaysia-made product. Think there is a design flaw in The area of the armrest where the tear is. There is hollow space under the PU leather where the tearing took place along the threadings. so no support for the PU leather cover, resulting in tearing along the threadline. Design Flaw...
  11. Seems like online furniture stores are rather similar in quality of their goods. I recently bought a 3-seater sofa from www.Bedsspecialist.com.sg http://www.bedsspecialist.com.sg/viewProduct.php?id=189 the delivery guys called me in the evening to said they wanted to deliver the sofa 1 day ealier... then when they come to my flat, they kept saying they rushing for time got other deliveries to make while i checking the sofa. After they left, proceeded to removed the remnants of the cardboard material protecting the underside of the sofa and discovered that there is abrasion on the underside of the sofa. image shown here: http://i.picoodle.com/d5diqef4 on the left side of the armrrest, can slightly see the threads holding the synthetic leather together (indicating a slight tearing). After less than 2 weeks, the site's tearing widened. image shown here: http://i.picoodle.com/f0biqef9. The side of the sofa got wet during the rain also. The bedsspecialist replied that they only provide 6months warranty on the wooden frame. So to warn all people, when the delivery guys say they rushing for time to make other deliveries.... it means something wrong with the goods delivered... BTW, the delivery guys say there are only the sub-contractor so any problem must go to Bedsspecialist... but Bedsspecialist no action in these defects.
