Wah sweet home, feel like wanted to lay down and sleeo
Yes, we are still in our new house, unwilling to go back my parents' house to rest.
-
But yours seem bigger than mine leh. Weird....
I think the problem lies with me. My photography skill is lousy; angle problem. Our living room too small, sofa too near the TV already. Cannot move the sofa back, if not will block the door opening.

Guys reveal the secrets about lemon and peach please... Remember please don't pollute my soul and bog
Hahahaha... Ask that man who talks about lemon to define what is lemon to you. Hahahaha....
-
You tv looks big!
Ours only 46". Yours TV is bigger than ours right?
-
This is how the chair looks like:
Previously have shown you guys the overall look of the dining table, bench and the chairs. I have taken the photo in another angle
And lastly, our living room is completed with sofa, TV console, and shoe cabinet. I bought the shoe cabinet from nearby neighbourhood furniture shop.

We managed to find two tidy rooms for photography tonight.
This is our kitchen without the LED strip.
After LED light strip installed, the kitchen looks more brighter. BTW, we have bought "4-eye" LED light bulbs from Gmarket for less than $10. Bought several light bulbs, shall install tomorrow. Hopefully the kitchen will be brighter than now. We also found similar bulb holder in AMK hardware shop; price similar to the light shop, but at least we need not go to Jln Besar to buy.

Nice lamp. I like!

U must be getting it at 499
Fmily price mah
Aaahhhh... This TV console not made by our uncle. It's my father's sub-con carpenter. Cheaper, but not the ideal price that uncle can do for us
-
Then how much ah
Look nice
Harvey Norman is selling the unit @ $999

no la....a minor re-do of my common toilet.
and also maybe new carpentry for studyroom....current studyroom is all "swedish" at this moment.
Hahahaha... I get what you mean. Ours study room also "swedish" concept now.

i really like your console!!
i also can't find anything i like.. debating whether to custom.. =/
Thanks dotty. It is really hard to find cheap and nice TV console these days. Maybe because many people package their TV console + feature wall together with the renovation contract, so manufacturing of TV console got lesser and lesser. Best is find something you like, then ask your contractor or carpenter to fabricate the design you want, if you really cannot find a suitable TV console in the market. It took us long consideration and sourcing before we decide to custom-made a TV console.

also very easy to dismantle and clean. relatively long throw, and feel the wind from 8m away.
So powerful? Aki is worried the wind power is not strong enough. The inflexible part about this kind of fan is it cannot rotate left and right. Overall I still like the fan, can adjust up and down - blow legs and head.

go to the europace service centre in UBI ave 3. beside TP.
they have display units there for sale. i think display units for fans should be ok right?
Display set should be fine. Doubt they on their fans 24/7. TV display set then cannot buy.
-
it's a toshiba air purifier. i bought an europace purifier intially, but the cleaning capacity was pretty low. so i upgraded to this one that can clean 21 sqm in 15 minutes.
yup....my fav fan too. i initially bought the single fan, and when i saw the twin for $119, i had to grab it. the single turbine fan now sits in my kitchen, providing me much needed ventilation when i cook.
Ahhh... I didn't know air purifier machine is that big.
So cheap? I saw triple selling in Courts at $2xx, don't bear to buy. Wanted to get one to place in living room

never mind la.....everyone makes mistakes during renovation.....
i'm already planning for my phase 2.0 next year.....heehee...to correct some mistakes.
2nd phase? Move house again?
-
Please put urself in the photo to demonstrate how it works.

What is the big machine behind the surfer?
Hey hey hey! I saw my fav fan on the left

i agree with you aya. there is only one direction for my brazilian walnut....horizontally only...it looks hideos when it is vertical.
Ya loh, we use your kitchen cabinet for reference, and we realise that brazilian walnut cannot do vertical, can only do horizontal. Grave mistake we made.

so can get uncle to do mirror and coffee table?? yr hubby is ignoring me
Hahaha... he is busy now, I think. I message him he also never reply me. Must be clearing his work so he can off work on time rush home to see the house.
But I must pre-warn all. The price we get will not be the same as what you get because the price we receive is based on family relationship. In terms of worksmanship, can guarantee uncle is a honest man, he will give the best out of his best.
May, what mirror size you looking for? For coffee table, it is best you have a picture so that uncle can reference.

Aya and Aki are so lucky!! You guys have relatives to help you with all the furniture and accessories... envy envy!!
Hey i think the brazilian walnut with white laminate is really a good match! When I looked at your MBR wardrobe, i felt something is missing and it can be better but i didn't know what was missing. Until today I saw your lovely tv console. I think the wood laminate used in small surface will look vr nice.
Hi Valerie. I agree, we made a mistake for choosing full brazilian laminate for our MBR wardrobe. Brazilian walnut laminate will look nicer if it is horizontal, not vertical. I think our MBR wardrobe is a failure too. The top and bottom frame is horizontal lining, whereas the side and sliding doors are vertical lining. This makes the whole wardrobe horrendous. I have tried to voice out to our contractor something is not right about the MBR wardrobe, not only the aluminium frame, but also the overall look, but my opinion is voided. I still feel sour seeing the MBR wardrobe.
If worst come to worst, I still don't like the wardrobe laminate, will ask uncle to take the sliding doors to help us redo the laminate. Actually when uncle came to our house, and he saw our MBR wardrobe, he was very worked up. He wanted to tear the whole wardrobe laminate and help us redo everything. He said the laminate looks horrible. At least someone shares the same thought as me

customised one are always nice... cos you can choose the laminate yourself and better quality as its not mass production where quality might not be so strigent.
makes me want to do one coffee table too.. hahaha....
Pros and cons apply. Mass production is cheaper, whereas custom-made can be slightly more expensive, but if the difference is not a lot, I will also prefer custom-made than mass production. I do agree with you, the flexibility to choose the types of colors, laminates, or spare parts that we want if we do custom-made carpentry.
-
very nice! i feel like customizing one myself.
Thanks getzski!
-
I only have the kitchen cabinet. rest bought.
What other carpentry work you would like to do? Not the 40cm mirror, please... If you are doing big items, we pass you our uncle's contact. His worksmanship is good. My in-law house carpentry work all done by Hubby's uncle, and still standing strong after 20 years.

can ur uncle make 1 for me
You still need carpentry? Thought your house carpentry work is completed

Can't wait to see the TV feature wall. You should also consider strips for the wall by either paint or wallpaper.
