same here in my previous condothere was a very tragic accident whena young child fell from the balcony of a high floor unit cos the stupid mgt dont allow grilles in balcony....from then on i told myself never going to stay high floor in condo...hdb is ok cos u can do whatever grille u want but u look at some newer condo all glass balcony it is scaring...
Agree! That was our main concern when we were deciding on our condo and we were very sure from the very beginning that not going to get high floor due to safety reason.
Yeap... Previously read about that child fell from high floor condo unit, thus that kinda set my mind to ground floor.
Precisely! Condo mgmt sometimes only think of the outlook and nice nice facade of the development and neglected the safety issue. Hope more condo mgmt will be more lenient on grilles for high floor units.

oops sorry sis...just keep browsing property guru and get ideas from other peoples pes...GND floor living is the best ..yup for
me too always got people come over for makan so i will have outdoor dining table...plus i got 2 girls and 2 dogs how to stay high floor
Hehe... No worries
I'm always checking and getting ideas for ground floor PES deco.
Yeap... I'm also always love havings friends over for makan... Plus I have 2boys but no dog.. Hehe
Ya, with young kids at home, I'm also very scare of high floor units... Plus the outdoor PES area is nice for the kids to run around without worrying while I'm doing my cooking lor... Cos I'm a SAHM, thus need to always think of safety for kids lor.

But your new condo unit will also be ready in 2 years? You planning to move to your condo or back to EM?
So nice to have 3 properties. I keep telling my hubby I need a new house so that I can shop for more furnitures.
Yeap... New place only ready in 2yrs time and current EM is tenanted out.
But planning to reno the entire EM n do thorough make-over when lease is over... That will be after my new place ready lor.
Abit kiasu to start looking for ideas now but just wanna slowly see n check around for new nice nice ideas.

My EM is the same layout as yours but mine is corridor unit.
Your unit is much much better cos it's corridor end. You can buy the recess area too, cos my neighbour bought the recess area and the unit become super big!

Nice house!
Can I have your contractor's contact? Thanks

hey bro urs 4 bedder super big PES just like mine but mine is 3 bedder....possibilities are endless...
i chose GND floor BIG pes cos i got kids and dogs...plus i love keeping plants and fishes...so there is bit of sacrifice
on the living space but we will get used to it..presently i staying in a hdb flat on high floor..just hate the feeling of
taking lift up/down...
Me not bro... Me is sis. Hahaha
Yeap, I go for ground floor with big PES is also for my kids. I have 2 young boys and reckon they will need the big area to run around.
My hdb EM also big... About 1500sqft. My boys love the big area...but now tenanted out and they were so looking forward to the new place which will on,y be ready in 2yrs time. Hehehe
Currently I'm also staying high floor and still has roaches and ants problem, thus not so much agreed with other advises which I received saying ground floor will have more roaches and other insects.. Hmm.. Well, let's see when I got the unit and move in lor.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to find more ideas to do up the PES nicely cos we enjoy inviting friends over for makan... Which I did alot during my own stay at my EM.
So looking towards that...

congrats just like me 2 more years plus to go i got a gnd unit at seaesta...but its a covered patio...so i wont be needing awning...i thought
of outdoor coffee/dining table...maybe koi pond..small swing for my kids...really a lot of things can do with patio...but i told myself wait n see 2 years is a long time...a lot of things can happen...initially when i just bought very excited but now..haiya..still got 2 years plus..
Ya.. Still long way... But by looking at the schedule, it's actually quite fast de.
That's why I start slowly find info and gt ideas.

Hi, I have PM u
Thanks!

Thanks js.. mine is at GardenVista @ Bt Timah area. How abt urs?
My condo doesn't allow awning. Bcos BCA doesn't allow that as the development had 'exhausted' the usable land. So here's the tricky part bcos my patio is included in the title deed. But y awning is not allowed?! Something that I need to find out more.
Nice project!
Mine is Riversound.. Another 2yrs to take keys... Haha
Was thinking to start slow to get and find more info and ideas on my patio area.
Very kiasu hor... Hahahaha
Hmm... I'm also starting to get worried about awning not allowed for mine... Haiz~~~
