  1. Hi Jerome, I've found out from the respective agents themselves that they do not deal with you, thus I didn't get the stocks from you and the reason that I can think of of why you sell more expensive than other shops is because you take the stocks from them as agents do not provide you with the stock. This is what Mage Discount Store and Parisilk sales person told me, telling me that you take stocks from them like Samsung, Bosch, etc appliances and in turn sell back to netizens overhere and in turn be a middleman and earn $20-$50 per piece. And true enough, when I got your quotes, it's $20-$50 higher than Parisilk, Kong tai etc. I understand that you can offer competitive quotes but why squeeze every $20-$50 from per piece items from people who come into this forum to actually find out cheap shops in SG so that they can save every penny from that bomb that tha new house renovation has costed!
  2. Hey Jerome, I find that your prices are more expensive by $20-50 dollars per piece item compared to Mega Discount Store, Goh Ah Bee, Everjoint, Kong Tai, Parisilk and Harvey Norman. All the shops that I've listed can match all your prices and even go lower than your prices, especially Kong Tai, Everjoint and Parisilk, when I show them the price you offer me, I got much lower quotes from them. Just my penny of thoughts after sourcing out prices from the other shops and compared to this forum. Though I've already bought all my stuffs from them, I hope you can do better to improve your prices next time and don't cheat forumers who came here to seek for renovation advices. Thanks.
  3. Just to share my experience with Everjoint.. My parents installed Joven 35L from Everjoint about two years ago and the installer installed a drainage pipe on the wall, which can be considered as a third pipe also. But it was very ugly and asked the installer why he installed that cause we previously didn't have an additional pipe when we were using our Ariston storage heater. The installer explained that the drainage pipe is linked to the release bar of the heater so if the heater ever overheats, it will release out hot air or small amount of hot water through the drainage pipe. In the end my parents thought it was too ugly and we got the installer to come back after a week to uninstall the pipe and he offered us an alternative which he said all other hdb flats did was to actually adjust the release bar to face the wall so that when there's problem of overheating, the hot air or small amount of water will be sprayed towards the wall instead. Much safer this way and carry out the purpose of the ugly drainage pipe! So far, I've never heard of heater exploding unless your storage heater doesn't have release bar which I believe all storage heaters should have. I'm doing my new Hdb flat now and I got my plumber to install a Champs CS30 for me but I didn't install a drainage pipe as well. Just got my plumber to adjust the release bar to face the wall instead and my plumber agreed that this works as perfectly as installing the additional ugly drainage pipe! Just my penny of thoughts, hope it helps!! Cheers
