Yesterday, we both went to the house to meet Mr K to confirm our laminates... He asked whether I wanted to take photos of the laminates that I had chosen but I told him no need... Basically our house will be shades of black, white, grey & variety of wood laminates... Duno how they would turn out but definitely looking forward to it! Cos no matter how it would turn out, it will still be OUR home truly After dinner, my husband decided to come over again to test and see how the lights would be at nite... So far, so good...i like the look of the kitchen (the lights against the cement screed) thou hubby mentioned that it might be dark but i just love it! heheh will decide later if I want to change to white light instead for my husband's benefit... so basically, my house is practically done...just waiting for my glass wall, floor laminates (the stock only coming in on the 18th) and my carpentary So far our reno has definitely been a wonderful experience cos both of us can definitely communicate with Mr K easily despite our language barriers and he really knows what we both want for our house...NICE Till the 18th then, when my laminates will be done...

After all the "drawings hunting" @our house, Mr K finally whatsapped me the actual drawings that he intended to do for our carpentary items a few days ago... There are some changes to some of the drawings...but nonetheless, everything going very very very smoothly Clockwise: Kitchen layout, Masterbedroom wardrobe, Living room, Study Room & Toilet

Hi macuser77, i also took the aircon from his cousin, wah urs got covered ah hehehe mine since its just the rooms only...very clean lines and my husband can definitely placed his toys on the additional ledges So far so good, love ur sliding doors but I duno where to have that for mine...heheh shall think, think, think of places...

Yesterday morning, Mr K called me to ask if I was coming over as he would be doing my lightings and fans today... Since I couldn't make it in the afternoon, juz informed him which lights/fans for which room Well, later in the evening, we went over and were surprised that all our lights & fans were UP!! Clockwise: The hall tracklights/fans (biggest pix), Storeroom light, Walkway tracklights, Wardrobe "milo tins" light, dining "hat" light and lastly kitchen lights As you all can see, I'm into black...hehehe my fans are black, lights are black Wonder what will Mr K surprise us again next week

The last update for today is definitely my BRICK WALL! I just fell deeply in love with the red brick wall in Paloma's house, along with the bookshelf... Thus getting these 2 for my own house definitely! So below, presenting my RED BRICK wall... I find that on its own, IT literally BRIGHTEN up my whole LIVING ROOM!! On a serious note My kitchen came with tiles that somehow I don't really fancy...since hacking will cost me a BOMB! I asked Mr K to cement screed my kitchen tiles instead...so below are the progress of the cement screed Loving it so much despite it would make my kitchen darker...rather live with darkness than the different coloured tiles The latest one so far is the one without any pink sticker on it... My hubby was rather skeptic about it at first but since the kitchen is MY domain... He let me do anything that I wanted and now, he actually likes it too LUCKY! Gas pipings all done...and my kitchen base and the washing machine base are also done... Guess left with installing the cabinets only Happy happy

Ok updates so far (since we went over to have a look yesterday) Everything going smoothly Mr K had informed me earlier that he would draw out my designs and show me later to see whether i like it or not... So when we went to the house, it was literally a surprise that our "drawings" on the wall continues... My hubby and me were literally telling each other that we were going on a "treasure" hunt as we searched the walls for the drawings... Thus, before Mr K could even surprise me...I literally "surprised" him back by "replying" to his "drawings" and even asking questions too See my ticks and "good" comments...heheee When I sent a picture of my replies to Mr K, he actually replied with "Hahaha" Luckily I don't have my coloured pencils with me, if not, I would have coloured the drawings too

my hubby collects takara transformers masterpiece, starwars, one piece & hot toys avengers...i think as for me...im more of the sylvanian families, mighty muggs & cosbaby
