Your sofa look quite huge.. do you know the L x W x D dimension?
Yes it's 3m long!

Nice sofa. Was selling at $1,399 without the ottoman in Dec when I was scouting for sofa at Courts). How much is the sofa nw? And the price of the ottoman?
Yeah I kimda remembered that it was a little cheaer last year due to promo price... but wanted to look at more sofas before deciding, so bopian too
Its $1499 now. Price includes the ottoman.

Bought King Koil sofa from Courts. Very value-for-money! $1499 (including ottoman), added on purchase of extra cover at $863 (think these are all promo prices).
Model we selected
The brown/green combination we opted for
The black/grey combination for extra cover
Happy with the purchase!

My 3D drawings are out...
Kitchen (artist impression only, not that big one)
Study room... the rightmost cabinet should be full-length, think it'll be revised! I love how this looks.
Shoe cabinet... The placement of the window is wrong, but it's not important I guess. Cabinet looks nice! Think I'll choose a different laminate colour to compliment with the theme better.
No drawing of living room because not doing any carpentry.
Drawings-aside, I'm getting iRobot Roomba 650 from Amazon.com! US$471.88 including international shipping.

OMG your kitchen should be on the cover page of a magazine.
OMG again at your fridge.
-

Happy reno!
Yeah lor! My banglas very hardworking!!!
-
I'm buying this for collecting my future cat's fur...
Can become kitty's "throne" too..

Yesterday and today, Mr E and I were defeated. Defeated by a US website that refuses to accept international credit cards & Paypal and that it also refuses to ship to a freight forwarding address :bangwall: We just wanna get 2 of the above lamps and have been researching for exactly a month
Try vConcierge! CLICK HERE
I bought my Barnes & Noble Nook e-reader through this, because B&N doesn't accept int'l CC and Paypal.

Happy Chinese New Year to all!!! HUAT AH!
Renovation works resume today (so fast!). Probably will go take a look over the weekend on its progress. If everything goes well, reno will be done by end March. *yays*

I ordered this sofa!
Good taste!!!

Hacking has begun!!!
I must applaud the bangla workers!!! They are really very fast. This is the amount of work done in one and a half days.
To be continued, after CNY.

Double post lol.

What is TB chairs? Taobao???LOL
Yes, TB for Taobao!
-
The bathroom accessories place called me just now to say that they've miscalculated an item and we should pay additional $100. Still trying to resolve the miscommunication.
-
Dyson fan: aesthetically, it is very nice! But the price tag is a bummer
Right now I am pinning after a haiku but again, price tag is a bummer.
I bought a Dyson knock-off from China! LOL Does the job, but dunno about durability la. Anyways also alot cheaper.
I'm also loving the Haiku, but going to settle for a similar-ish looking black fan from Fanco instead due to budget constraints.

Oh the different types of laminate - yes, must do research on this. We will be getting a dog in future and he/she is expected to pee around the house for the first few months before properly toilet-trained. So I think we need better laminate...
I think our bigger problem is that the current tiles in the living room may not be even. My HTB felt it but I couldn't feel anything. Not sure if we can overlay cos hacking the living room and bedrooms' tiles will add onto the cost, sighz
Get your ID/contractor to inspect and advise on the flooring, on whether can overlay with laminate.
My laminate is waterproof and scratchproof! Also chosen with a pet in mind, because I'm adopting a cat, lol. Alot of laminates on the market have the same properties nowadays. My supplier is Wood Culture but you can get a quote from Evorich too for HERF laminate.
-
The wooden one seems to have more 'character'! And yes TB chairs are way cheaper!
I'll decide on my table when my 3D drawings arrive! I like the wooden one too, but my husband prefers the glass.
-
The dining table is so gorgeous! And so is the price tag heehee. I must be too attuned with the prices on TB. Are you getting anything from Commune?
The wooden or tinted glass one?
I think 80% confirm I want either of the dining tables... Chairs I'm probably getting from somewhere else. TB, maybe.

ID brought us to choose tiles at Hafary yesterday, along with shopping at a lightings shop and a shop selling bathroom accessories.
What I've chosen for my kitchen tiles!

Samples for Wall & Floor
What I've chosen for toilet tiles (dual colour)!

Oh, I also went to Harvey Norman at Millenia Walk to look at appliances. Generally the salespeople were pretty nice! I'm pretty interested in this particular 7kg Electrolux washer.
Then I went to Commune, on the same floor, to look at furniture. OMG gorgeous!

The husband was out of town on Saturday so I went window shopping! Brought catalogues, brochures and whatnot home, to do "homework".
My first stop was Lite Fusion (reviews not bad) because it was walking distance from my house, lol. The guy there (Nick I think) was not hard-selling at all, made good recommendations and was really friendly!
Likely getting a mirror cabinet for my common bathroom!
Taps, sinks, misc.
The price was quite competitive (I guess, haven't been to other shops). Other than bathroom accessories, they also sell Rinnai, Fujioh, EF hob/hood packages, ceiling fans (which I most probably will be getting from them), kitchen sinks, lights (limited range but ok if you're only getting simple stuff like downlights). The kitchen sinks were VERY cheap (imo lah)... Nick recommended Elkay and Monic for kitchen sinks.
Oh and I fell in love with this. I got the same thing from the bathroom accessories shop my ID brought me to on Sunday.
Went to Robinsons at Raffles City Shopping Centre after that to look at mattresses, but I'm still not sure whether I should set aside a little more budget for a Simmons/Sealy mattress, so it was pretty much inconclusive.
Spotted something pretty for decor though!
Finally, Our 愛巢...
