Easy to control the workers when not using someone you know.
-
I have done some home works and managed to get a few quotes from different sources I.e renotalk, friends, colleagues.
Once you have a clear mind of what you want, then you will be able to compare them apple to apple
And you probably have the answer as to which one you want to go with.

Anyone has got experience with this ID?
After sourcing around over the last few months, it seems like I'm going to sign with them.
Very competitive pricing and willing to give to a few extra items.
Managed to liaise directly with the designer and offers a lot of ideas.
Any comments?

Recently we visited this ID firm and enquired quotations for our new house.
Very satisfied with the service level as we were served by their interior designer (not the sales) and he was able to propose new ideas to us.
He is also very accommodating in term of pricing.
Not only the designer gave us the quotes during our 2nd meeting, he even showed us the 2D plans for the layout, ceiling plan and lightings plans.
This firm is one of the shortlisted firm that we are planning to go with.

Seems like they have a lot of IDs.

I started off with shortlisting Summit as one of my ID and managed to get a quote from them. True that they are not the cheapest and I found that there quotes are very "vague".
A lot of items that they quoted me examples are 10ft X 10ft, 8ft X 8ft, unlike some other ID companies where they are more detailed and they even gave me 2D sketch of pictures and lightings sketches for the room.
I have dropped them too.

Shortlist Hommage as one of the shop to buy my sofa. Visited their showroom some times back and the couple is very friendly.

Hi which area did you see OC doing the renovation?
Hougang Ave 10

I saw a unit near my house currently renovating and the Contractor is O.r.a.n.g.e.C.u.b.e
Funny thing is that saw the workers worked 1 day then and after that the renovation didn't move on till now.
Maybe owner wants to do it slowly or the work is delayed.
Another unit next to it recently started renovating also. Saw today that the workers were still working today and this O.C one is not working.

House Type: New 4 Room Punggol Flat (Premium; Tiles & basic sanitary fittings included)
ID: Shah Larkhan
Total Renovation cost: $23,779.50
We chose Summit Design Studio as our ID after reading about them in this forum. Shah is a really patient and nice lady who constantly provided updates on renovation works to us. She does not impose her ideas on us, but instead listened to our needs, ideas and worked around our budget. The only imperfection would be the total time taken to handover unit to us, which was delayed by 1 of their contractors. Other than this, we are satisfied with our newly renovated house. We would still recommend Shah and Summit Design Studio. Our renovation consisted mostly of carpentry works, with the details as follow.

It is always to good to walk around EXPO to get some ideas on how much are the various packages are. No harm getting some brochures and really see what each of them can offer.
Read up Renotalk Forum and at least you know which are the more reliable or OK ID company (though there are alot of self advertisement).
Talk to about 5 which you think might suit you and shortlisted 3.
It's always good to do some homework and start early so that you have options.
When you have options, then you make rationale decisions.

At the recent Home fair, both companies are there. Floorich tends to be more expensive than Evorich even though they are same material I.e WPC.
In fact the other 2 companies who are in the fair are cheaper.

Are they still operating?

Can anyone PM me Merane contact?
