You mean the kitchen wall and beam? that is raw cement screed finishing. Where as the other wall beside the shoe cabinet or rather TV feature wall is laminate

U're welcome... of cos having one ceiling light is much cheaper than doing false ceiling plus 7 downlights... the Dalen light is very bright! its the brightest and most expensive light in my whole house... the photo above is set to warmest color at dimmest setting...

Bought from www.coconuttreelighting.com.sg @ $388 including installation...nearly bought from taobao at first, can save abt $100sgd...but dont like the chinese worded remote control...and no warranty, so decided to get it locally...

Only the bed-head together with the bed-side tables are custom-made carpentry work...the bed frame is actually a Maxcoil storage bed frame which we've bought since our marriage in 2011...

Going down to the level to be hidden by bottom kitchen cabinets and going through the wall back into the kitchen... Ending at the hob area

From the outlet point, run behind the top-hung kitchen cabinets towards the service yard... Going out into the service yard via the hole already provided by HDB. This part can just see a very tiny portion of the pipe as the hole provided is just slightly outside the depth of my top-hung cabinets...it is that weird looking corner edge... This is on the outside or service yard side of the wall.. crossing to the opposite side...

Starts from the outlet point at the top of the cement screed wall, run behind the top-hung kitchen cabinets above the refrigerator towards the service yard and goes out into the service yard. Then run exposed along the top of the service yard ceiling beside the PVC pipes crossing to the opposite side and then down to where my washing machine is and goes through the wall back into the kitchen. Concealed by the bottom kitchen cabinet to the hob area. I'll post photos when I'm home.

Cant say much as our kitchen is incomplete, so the hob is yet to be installed and no cooking yet. Only can say that it looks really sleek and futuristic with the touch-control and LED lighting.
