  1. Hi, sorry for the late reply, I seldom login now that we've moved in... Of course the corridor is shorter than the original, which is what we intended in the first place - to make use of corridor space... it is not much though, only about 1 to 2 ft, which is probably why it still looks alright in the photo.
  2. Hi Cheree, 44k on renovation including ID fees... excludes purchase of lights, furnitures, appliances...
  3. Those recessed spot lights are 4W LED each. There's 2 nos. in each "box" and there's 4 box. They can be adjusted easily to shine almost any angle. You can buy single, double or triple holder boxes. Its bright enough to shine half the living room width. But its afterall a spotlight, so I still need the T5 cove lights to flood the living room with warm lighting to brighten the space. I wanted to install these spotlights to shine the feature wall as well as providing dining lights when my dining table is shifted over to the console side. The 4W LEDs are actually the exact same ones as those in the small track lights

  8. hi, thanks.. the sofa is custom made directly from a sofa maker...its actually copy of the "Muuto Connect Sofa"... cover is non-removable... only the armrest cover is removable... The sofa maker is "Kim Hwee Sofa Industry"
  9. Go to taobao.com , then just search "carpet grass"... you get plenty of sellers selling the different types...
  10. the table is stable, wood top has a very natural look and smooth finishing..but have some small lobang on the surface...still acceptable to us as its really cheap anyway... I ordered it through peeka and shipped it with a number of other items, so i wont be able to tell you how much is delivery charge... different freight forwarder/agents have different charges... you gotta do some research on how to purchase from tb... im a newbie myself and my purchases so far has always been through peeka... i always estimate the shipping charges using the formula: "(price of item on taobao + 40%) / 5 = price of item to deliver to doorstep in SGD" the formula is just a gauge...be prepared to fork out more or less...

  14. no offence taken the green thing below is actually just green floor mats which we got from daiso for temporary use..we're actually looking for artificial carpet grass to place there to add some colors and also to reduce the reflection off the glossy floor tiles from the LED strip... tried the plastic artificial grass from daiso too but then the LG roboking had some difficulty climbing up...just ordered some proper artificial grass from taobao...hope it can be a more permanent solution...

  19. hi mechu81, the decision to place the hob on the other side is because we adopted the "triangle" layout between the fridge, hob and sink for kitchen ergonomics. If the hob and sink is placed on the same side, the fridge will have to be on the opposite side to maximise kitchen worktop space. If the fridge is on the opposite side, it means I cannot have 1 side of the kitchen without top cabinets as the dish rack unit is directly above the sink. hope you get what I'm trying to say... =x Anyway, having the gas pipe routed all the way to the opposite side cost me $20 kopi lui to the gas pipe installation uncle only. =X
  20. Thanks.. photos of the sink area: Kompacplus is fine with water. It has pretty good reviews online, which is why we selected kompacplus. Yes, sealed to the wall with silicon. Fluid test on kompacplus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZA__oa9-SA Heat and fire test on kompacplus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmRZK_KhtgQ
