Recently my partner and i bought a 3 room HDB flat. Below is the layout of the whole place. Am not a man with many words... my posts will mostly consist of photos. But i will try to type more stuff.. and i am more than happy to get tips and suggestions from all of you out there. NOTE: this is just a photo i grab from the net.. so the north and south thingy... just dont bother about it... its actually the other way round. Q:How many Flats did you go to before deciding on this particular flat? A: We probably went to 10 flats? The first 2 we visited weren't what we were looking for and was really turned off by them due to pricing wise and the amount of reno work it will need to go through. After which we told our agents of our thoughts and inform them that we want to see a few flats instead of just 1/2 flats per day. Next thing you know... the next viewing they bombard us with places we asked for! (i was thrilled!)HOUSE SHOPPING!!!! Q:Why we decided on this Flat? A: Its within our budget!!! plus the whole layout of the place really fits into what we were looking for. the view from the living room/ guest room is all greenery.(Which i personally love!) The flooring of the place also attracted me. It didnt really go with what i had in mind.. but when i saw this place,i thought to myself.."Wow..i really like the flooring!" The whole place gave me a retro feel to it.. so i guess the whole renovation will have to be planned around this retro feel that i have from this flat. Things we already bought: -Samsung 2-door Fridge -2 Samsung 40inch LED TV -Samsung Soundbar/3D player -Samsung Digital Frame -Samsung Vacuum Cleaner -Samsung Microwave -Samsung Series 5 ULTRA (FROM HERE YOU MIGHT HAVE GUESSED WE LOVE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!!!) -Electrolux 7KG Dryer -LG 8KG Washer -Philips Cordless phone -Belkin N600 wireless router -1 Queen sized(black)bed for masterbed room. -1 TV Console Things to look out for: -Queen size Bed (x1) -Aircon(probably Samsung again...) -Induction cooker -Washing Basin -Bookshelves - MORE TO BE ADDED AS DAYS GOES BY....
