got two rough quotes from reno company for 3room rewiring ... $1.5k to $2k.
but ST classified ads got ads for under $800.
why so much diff ?
also, if opt to do separate rewiring, should i do rewiring or reno first ?
Make sure its done up by LEW, which is much costly as they are suppose to be professional. But there are many out there who claim can do, and ended up in a mess. Do take note. Just have to be careful, and sometimes a bit of luck.

I guess being responsible in whatever we do is really crucial in all aspect of life. I'm really sad that people nowadays do not mind carrying the load of guilt being irresponsible. I really can't imagine the legacy they will leave to their next generation.
Take example D--s--n Cl---t that we initially liase with. He has 2 young kids. But his "hack care" attitude is not only going to give the Reno industry a bad name, he is really setting a bad example to his kids.
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.
There are always such ppl around to outshine the ones with good attitudes.
This is life. And we live once... its one's choice to be good or bad... up there is giving us the freedom of choice. Its a phase of change in mankind, if everyone has the right attitude, there's a brighter tomorrow for the next generation. This is Karma of life.

Have to give and take. Some good IDs have products of their own which are cheaper. Whereas some just go by adding % to cover project management cost. Genuine ones do in pros way, but sales designers are a bit diff...major non experience, that's why lots of headache.

$$$ is not everything bro. There are still gd ppl out there. Open your eyes, and feel... if you are reasonable...Those who are really in business will maintain good relationship in order to have more referrals... don't forget this field is very competitive. My jaws dropped to see some of the quotations are rediculously low, wondering how can a good job be done?! Anyway every businessman have his own trick. Its just my personal opinion.

Reno Package I supposed... There are many types of packages ID and contractors offer rite? Some come with getting list of works in lump sum... Anyway, m just asking. If its costly, sure heartache apart from headache. I think the feel is very important. Must discuss as detail as possible to ppl you are working with. Budget is an issue, but the comfort of your home after reno is very imporatnt too. Happy reno!

See lah. Newbies kana attack! Old or new same lah. There's self ad everywhere. Market so open and prx getting lower and lower, and some happily think that they save cost. Wait till neighbours from downstairs complain about leakage problem... Homeowners really have to open their eyes. After sales service is as important. Happy reno!

Anyway, buying and selling requires chemicals between both parties. One is willing to buy and the other is willing to sell - As long as both feeling reasonable, then happy ending! Happy reno:D -
For small reno items, no unit rate. Usually come in lump sum. I seriously do not know how some can survive with this cheap rate... Self ad maybe...

Contractors and IDs die alr.... Please don't forget ppl also have parents, wife, children to feed...Home owners please have mercy...
Carpentry works varies, some give cheap stuff, quote high price. Some give quality stuff, and high price; but worth.
And some price cheap, workmanship cheap, everything cheap cheap... and homeowners have nightmares!!

Considering hacking the floor? Do remember to do waterproofing. VERY IMPORTANT! You will face leakage problem after sometimes. This is very common nowadays. Contractors did not do a good waterproofing job and that's the start of your nightmare! Take care!

Usually ID accommodate the FSM one lah. Client orientated lah. No Worries. Best both together so the ID can mark the places and cautious about their design. (My own opinion only hor)
