  1. Hi rumi,

U can try this website. But, I tink dun all the models are on their webbie. I'm considering between RT1100 and E1F4 (Tis one not in their webbie). 1100 is cheaper lor, i tink about 650. Than the E1F4, they can sell me at $720 inclusive of installation. Which model from Samsung r u looking at? Can share the link..

my neighbour has it. kinda noisy coz it beeeeeeeeps a lot. initially they had issues with it, but think it's all worked itself out. our neighbour installed it because his mom had the habit of forgetting to lock the gate when she went out (the gate autolocks when it closes). kinda cool me thinks.

    Hi gumbokins,

May i ask how long did ur neighbour took to finally "settle" the lock?

  2. Hi Rumi,

I'm eyeing the lock from Adel, distributored by a Co in Serangoon. It's a US brand but made in China. Samsung ones are nice. But, I find their design too fanciful for my liking.. Prefer the classic looking ones. Coz 1 of my fren juz install at their place.. But, they staying Terrace House la.. So, in a sense.. it's like just nice for em lor. :D

  3. Hmm, from my "studying", I tink nowadays Biometric is more stable liao. Coz Sales Rep had been to my place to do a demo last week. Me & HB pretty impressed. Especially me since I always find it a hassle to dig into my big bag for my house keys..

The only thing stopping me now is coz we have a gate... So, if still needa open the gate with the key than use my finger to open my main door.. Kinda defeat the purpose liao...

Oh ya, it's gonna cost us bout 700 inclusive of installation.. So, another main factor to consider too lor..

  4. Hi LouiseB,

My HB had used their recliner series before, and my BIL oso has 1 in his current place. And my BIL has been using it for about 4 yrs liao, no problems with the mechanism so far. I'd say tat they feel simply GOOD! None of those mass market products tat I've tried ever came close. 1 thing though is tat they really cost a small bomb..

I'm oso seriously considering getting one for my place now.

A few days ago, I visited the Harvey Norman megastore at Millenia Walk and tried out the Australian lazboy recliner collection.

The leather ones are very comfortable and support the spine pretty well.

However, the prices are stiff....S$2000+ per piece.

Has any forumer bought it and would like to comment?

    Cheers.

  5. 1) fulushou go all the way to the top level, there is buddhist accessories shop.

skip bencoolen shopping if possible - many cut throat shops inside.

    2) chang jiang building? the building beside outram park MRT that always show RA movies.

go to 3rd or 4th floor - look for Evergreen.(cheapest I have come across).

    3) Geylang....but donno how to descibe the place...but if you have vegetarian frens they sure know where it is.

    Hi MaCe,

    Thanks a Million!

Hopefully we can get IT soon as we intend to invite to ou nest by mth end.

  6. Hi hi,

Pls advise on the locations that sells have more choices for us to browse in our quest for getting a Guan Yin for our altar at home. We're tinking of getting a All-White Figurine.

We've been to ROchor Ctr, those shops ard the Bugis Kwan Yim temple & Bencoolen. We're intending to conquer Fu Lu Shou complex these few days. So far, have not seen anything to our fancy yet..

  7. Kowloon is good. Location is very convenient. Just 2 mins walk to MTR. But, I tink room is pretty small. Dun even ve dressing table in room. But, tink HK Htl are almost all so small der, unless, u pay more.

Miramar is also good. But, tat time I got free upgrade to their bigger room, so unable to compare with Kowloon.

  8. Dear All,
